When I read the title I was contemplating whether or not to read it... I don't do very good with trauma either... But I am glad I did 'cause I definitely loved it... This is one date that brings out a lot of painful memories to a lot of people but I guess now I have one good thing to remember... :)

Prompt: "I miss their "bench"...now they might be in SM...Zoya craving for pizza..."

Note: I have to admit. I did not completely understand this request, so I am sort of going on a limb here! I apologize if I misunderstood what you had requested! And I hope that you like this anyway.

Zoya sighed as she sat on the bench in the garden. It was so strange. She was sitting in a garden and it was just grass, regular, green grass and she was only sitting on a very normal and general wooden bench, much like many other benches, but still she missed "their" bench - the specific bench where Zoya had seen a side to Asad that he always kept hidden from the entire world. She missed the bench which had witnessed the love bloom between the two of them and was also the witness to numerous fights and then apologies.

Simply, she missed the bench in her home.

And now, she also missed the person whom she shared it all with. Her Jahanpanah Six-Packs was getting a pro at being MIA for days at stretch.

Zoya sighed again as she looked at her gifted watch for time. He should be back by now, she thought. She was sitting outside late at night, waiting for Asad to return from Delhi. He had called her and told her he would be back late into the night. He had specifically told her not to wait up for him because he would be late but did Zoya ever listen to what he asked her to do? So here she was, waiting for her love to return home. Clichd? Zoya thought so. But Asad had made her filmy and cheesy.

She rubbed her hands on her arms to warm her as the cold of the night bit her somewhat, even through the sweater she wore. She could have waited for him inside the house, or rather inside the outhouse, as Zoya knew that Asad would head straight to the outhouse when he would return and she would have to wait for the morning to see him. She wanted to catch him as he came back.

Well she could go and meet him in the outhouse as well, after he had returned, but after what had happened the last time she had been in there with Asad, Zoya wanted to avoid anything like that again at any cost. It was not that she was afraid of Mumani - the people who mattered to her knew the truth that was what was important. It was just that Zoya cared more about her Phuppi and she could not bear anyone saying anything disrespectful to her.

Zoya's blood boiled as the people of the house invaded her thoughts and all their vile accusations flooded her thoughts.

"Stupid, nosy, idiotic, snooping and hypocritical people! Those two-faced people! They are the ones to talk about decency and civility while they are the ones who are always invading people's bedrooms like that! Morons!" Zoya mumbled to herself as she let out the steam.

"I hope you are not talking to yourself about yourself. You shouldn't put yourself down too much. You are really not that bad, Zoya. You've learnt to knock now, sometimes, that is." A teasing voice interrupted her ramblings.

Zoya's head whipped to the direction of the voice and she saw Asad standing here, giving her one of his rare smiles. Ignoring his jibe at her habit of barging into his room, she leapt off the bench and into his arms.

Asad caught her in his grip and buried his face in her hair. It was home. The couple stood there in embrace for a long time, just relishing the feel of being in each other's arms again. Nothing could ever compete with the feeling of being complete when they were in an embrace like that.

"You are here" Zoya whispered into his chest. Asad simply nodded at her and held her close. After some long moments, Asad led her to the bench and sat them both. Zoya leaned into his side and put her head on his shoulder, her arm going around his waist while Asad also wrapped his arm around her shoulders and hugged her to him. She snuggled close to him and relished in the warmth of his body.

"I told not to wait, Zoya." Asad gently chided her.

"You are still not the boss of me, Mr. Wannabe Zill-E-Ilhai" she stuck her tongue at him.

Asad chuckled at her and kissed the crown of her head. After a few moments of peaceful silence, Zoya said the first thing.

"I missed you, Mr. Khan. This is such a pagalkhana! "

Asad sniggered at her whining, "You mean there is someone in this world that was able to drive you crazy? Wow. That is an amazing feat!"

Zoya pouted at him and pinched his side. "Don't be mean to me! Allah Miyan, what is wrong with all these people in this house? You have absolutely no idea, Mr. Khan about how Phuppi and I survived here! If it wasn't for the only sane person, Haider...!" she trailed and shook her head.

Asad's arm tightened around her in a possessive manner. With gritted teeth, he spat, "Who is this Haider?"

"Haider!? Oh right You haven't met him!" Zoya grinned, "He is your Abbu's guest and business partner for some deal, I think. He is staying here for some time. And you know what, Mr.Khan? He is such a fun person and he helped me also! I told you about the whole papers fiasco, right? Haider helped us then!" she went on happily, oblivious to Asad's increasing anger and jealousy.

"...and then we made pizza! It was fun and we made such a mess, not more than the mess you had made, though, but Mumani is scared of him for some reason so we were off the hook! It was such a blast!" she went on with the tales of fun with who Asad thought as Mr. Kabaad Mein Haddi Sheikh, still unaware of her fianc's irritation, and went on, "Oh no! Talking about pizza is making me crave one! Can we order one now?" she looked at him with an innocent coy look and pouted again.

"Why don't you ask your new friend? I am sure he'd be delighted to have a midnight snack with you!" Asad grumbled at her.

Zoya frowned at him and then understanding flashed in her eyes and she grinned mischievously, "Jealous, Mr.Khan?"

Asad looked at her straight in her eyes and tugged her even closer, "Very much so, Ms. Farooqui. You are mine and you are only allowed to share moments with me, just me. " he whispered at her, his breath that washed over her face, made her lose her train of thought for some moments.

"In that case, Mr. Possesive Khan, he considers me his little sister." Zoya touched her forehead to his, "And you are the only one who can make my heart flutter."

Asad leaned forward and gave her an Eskimo kiss. And just like that, Zoya's heart fluttered and she flashed him her killer dimples.

Another garden, another bench.

And yet another moment of love.
