Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya denies being part of Bigg Boss 19 'This Happens Every Year...'

Television star Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, known for popular shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, has shut down rumours about her participation in Bigg Boss 19. In a recent conversation with Telly Talk, Divyanka made it clear that the reports are false. She said such rumours are nothing new and are spread every year when a new season of Bigg Boss is about to begin.

These rumours started after a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by a fan page called Bigg Boss Tak. The post claimed that Divyanka and her former co-star Sharad Malhotra, who acted with her in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, had been approached for the upcoming season of the show.

Reacting strongly to this, Divyanka said, “Fake, they spread such news every year”, firmly denying any involvement with the reality show and putting an end to the ongoing speculation.

Divyanka and Sharad have a personal past as well. The two were in a relationship for almost eight years after meeting on the sets of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. However, they broke up in 2015. Since then, both have moved forward in life. Divyanka is now married to actor Vivek Dahiya, while Sharad got married to Ripci Bhatia.

Even though Divyanka’s name keeps popping up around Bigg Boss every year, she has never taken part in the show. She has, however, been a contestant on other reality shows like Nach Baliye 8 and Khatron Ke Khiladi seasons 11 and 13, where she won a lot of appreciation for her performances.

Meanwhile, the buzz around the Bigg Boss 19 cast is growing. Several well-known names from the TV and digital world are being speculated to join the show. As per fan pages and media sources, actors like Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Apoorva Mukhija (also known as The Rebel Kid), Mr. Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma are all being considered.

Additionally, there are talks that actors from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah — including Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, and Jennifer Mistry — might also be a part of the upcoming season.

As of now, Divyanka has confirmed that she is not part of Bigg Boss 19, even though the official cast is yet to be announced.
