I have seen him vicltimized in the Tourist also😆..and his heart breaking in Pirates...I cannot feel sorry for Depp on screen...he just does not exude that vibe...it's not about his acting skill which is unparalleled...but I just cannot pity Depp😆

But now that I think of it, I don't think there's anything I'd change.
I remember being disappointed with how they turned out when I watched but I still loved it because it was great to see the characters live and they did justice to their roles.

Call me nostalgic, blind fan, whatever but as much as I dislike it, I love it too.

And its so much better than many book adapted films.

I totally agree. They are a darn side better than a whole lot of adaptations. 😃

The thing with LOTR is that it belongs to the list of books that are bought but never read...watching the movies is much easier...and they have made it well too...there are people who have read LOTR and they say the books are better😆

I remember struggling to read LOTR😆

I was so bored and yet I liked it.
Was talking with my friends yesterday and they were saying they don't get the LOTR fandom at all. And I myself was questioning why I liked it. There's something special about it, I really can't place it.
And also the parallel universe😳

I agree Ne. By itself HP movies are good. And in hindsight, after all these years, I don't mind them as much as I did when I first saw them.
But when I compare it with LOTR, I find them lacking. I can rewatch LOTR but only reread HP.

I guess I just wanted the movies to remain true to the books, which did not happen.
