DIARY of a QHian: Re-breaking Bones.

Nov 25, 26, 27:

Dear diary,

At times, a fractured bone heals wrong- then that has to be re-broken and allowed to heal properly. And this procedure of re-breaking and setting bones ends up being more painful than the actual procedure...

A lethal blow to a little boy's innocence and trust inflicted by a betrayal- that left a scar so deep and wide that it was beginning to turn malignant. Did Allah decide it was time to go about re-breaking him, because he refused to be healed whole?

Asad goes about fighting the predestined, challenging the woman who raised him, refusing to let go of the darkness he finds relief in. Is this the beginning of a healing process? If so, it has a long way to go.

Asad and Dilshad: A mother is asked to choose...and she forces herself to choose. But she looks back every step of the way, memories from every nook and corner of her beloved world stop her. Until she barely convinces herself that it was time to make herself complete.

Shireen and Rashid: The moment Shireen realizes Rashid is serious about bringing her sauten home, her mind is set- she realizes she has been living a lifetime of lie- a truth that breaks her. But Rashid implores her to stay back. His plan is to mend; not to break. He cannot correct one mistake by allowing another one to happen. Every brick in the house speaks of his swat and blood, and it is this house he wants to die in, bringing justice to two women he had wronged. If someone had to leave, he was willing to be the one.

Shireen hears the word mohabbat out of his mouth- the one word she had been dying to hear all her life, always feeling the other woman while being the only woman...and that is enough for her. Main hamesha jaanti thi Rashid ke dil mein Dilshad ke liye ek jagah hai...and now, even if it was to share that space, she is willing to stay back.

Rashid and Ayan: Finally Ayan agrees with his bhaijaan- every word he had spoken against his Abbu had been true...all he cared about was himself. He declares that his Ammi would be the one to leave her shauhar, and not the other way...of course he has always been a momma's boy. And when his mother turns around, Ayan refuses to...one more mother chooses her husband over her son.

Dilshad and Shireen: Though they both chose the same, I felt it was different. Dilshad was leaving her son at his home, under Zoya's care. Shireen had selfishly left the house with the child she herself had abandoned years back, to be lured back.

Dilshad and Rashid: He left her long back, earning her the name of chhodi huyi aurat. Is is time for her to leave him too, giving him a taste of his own medicine, unknowingly. What Ayan wished of Shireen, may be Dilshad will fulfill.

FarNik: OK. That is a cute love story...so much more better than womanizing and serial killing. Though I must say, the whole track was tiring since the CVs wanted the suspense at the cost of the story. But I loved the kahani mein twist..hats off for that. Nikhat's love story has never looked so interesting, and Farhan is looking damn good too, now that the mystery is lifted. (Special mention of that call girl- she acted well..much better than the first time she came.)

AyRa: Life is not full of cakes and candles. A promise is made...but Ayan's mohabbat withers before his anger. Humeira is left with no closure'. Loved Vikrant's exit from the show...I love him in such scenes and his dialogues were good. So Ayan Miyan has gone to be a big man all by himself, leaving his Ammi, Abbu, Humeira, Bhaijaan and the whole of Bhopal. Dear Gul, I wonder when you will learn to believe in your story more than the actors...I do hope Ayan will be back.

AsYa: Zoya is left alone to take care of Asad. He has left to Delhi, unable to be hear a goodbye from his Ammi. When he returns, he will be inconsolable, yet he was the one who had asked her to choose.

Like Gul always said, the story is seen through Zoya's eyes...and she has only one question...yeh sab itna complicated kyu hai, ki apnon ki dil mein apnon ke liye nafrat kyun paida ho jaata hai! That is the girl who does not know rishton ke maaine!

PS: I watched all three in one go, that too happened in the reverse order...drama always drains me, I am a lover of rom com...and right now, the only romance is FarNik and the only comedy is Raz and the Bhoot!

BTW, if things continue this way, bhaabhiji will definitely go bawri at the end of four months!

And I feel Sameera cannot be Tanveer, because Tanveer is a scheming woman who can even gouge out her eye for her matlab...does not fit in with the innocent Sameeera happily dancing away in kotis...(I loved that dance fb...) Plus, Tanveer is Zardosi expert 🥱and fashion designer 🥱cum Nurse trainee drop out...😆

Breaking a broken bone to reset it again does happen. Such a brilliant and simple metaphor. It will hurt a lot more, might even take longer to heal, but will heal properly. 👏 I cannot think of anything better that would describe Asad's condition.

About Rashid, I think he never loved Shireen and that is just very sad, he lead a life that was a pretense for him and made it real for the folks who had faith in him. It is cruel. The mending will not really fix anything, just forgiveness also might not really cut it either.

Dilshad and Zoe have a beautiful bond and so far is something kept pristine by Cvs, they will always be close I hope.

Ayan is being Ayan. I will miss VM, I hope he comes back soon, I cannot imagine Asad not having anyone around him except Zoe. Ayaan needs to come through that window of his and selfishly complain and whine about his abbu, ammi and how annoyed he is with all.

Now the 3 year leap spoiler is doing rounds. I hope they are not true.

Will wait and watch.
