He closed his eyes and images of what had happened flashed in his mind.

A few days ago:

Asad carefully inspected his reflection in the mirror for the millionth time.He had that one of his rare smiles on his face.He tucked his tie in place and turned around to give one last look to his room which was decorated with dim yellow lights and flowers.

(imagine the jaanam dekhlo sequence type decoration)

He wanted everthing to be perfect...PERFECT for HER. Afterall SHE was coming back to this...no...THEIR house after TWO WHOLE WEEKS.

As he eagerly sped towards his destination...THE SIDIQUE MANSION, he coudnt stop himself from reflecting back at the varied emotions he had experienced recently.He had been saddened by the fact that he had to leave his Zoya at the house which he loathed and accept her as his bhabhi even though it as temporary.He had been extremely disappointed with himself as he had not been able to do anything for her at that time and had to choose his sister over her.To top it all after the day of nikhat's nikaah he had been furious with her because she had refused to come back, always having a reason to stay back at SM.He had not even tried to contact her in the past two days.But TODAY he had woken up with a new resolve to get back what rightfully belonged to him.He wanted to see her, touch her, hold her in her arms and tell her that how much he had missed her.He had immediately called up Ayaan to inform him of his surprise visit to his house so as to take Zoya back at any cost and Ayaan was more than glad to help the two lovers unite.

Normally it would take atleast 30 mins to reach but today Asad reached his destination in 15 mins.He parked his car and started walking towards the house as the gates were already open due to Ayaan.

Unaware of Asad's surprise visit, Zoya was in the kitchen looking for something to eat.The other occupants of the house had gone to attend a relative's function.Being aware of his brother's visit, Ayaan had obviously come up with an excuse of not feeling well and naturally everyone had asked his WIFE to stay back and take care of him.

Zoya's red and puffy eyes reflected her pain and that she had cried herself to sleep.She had dark circles under her eyes.She was confused and hurt as to why Asad had not spoken to her.She herself had wanted to go back and to be with him but always something or the other came up.She did not want to hurt anyone's feeling and so she had agreed to do whatever Shireen and Badi ammi asked her to do.Now how was she at fault, she failed to understand.She spotted an apple and grabbed it to have a bite.

Zoya(talking to herself): Maybe i should have called Mr Khan...wait...allah miyaan, why should i call him when he is not worried for me!

Lost in her own thoughts, Zoya turned around to move out of the kitchen and collided into a very familiar person.

Zoya(massaging her forehead and looking down):Allah Miyaan, what's wrong with you!Cant you see where you are...

As soon as she looked up and locked her gaze with that person, she FROZE.
