i seriously want modi to have atleast one chance...i am not saying he is best or does not have any flaw...he must be having...in politics and this system you can not afford to be free from all flaws...
but when i hear him..i hear a clear vision ..thats what i like about him...he has clear vision ,he has strategies which sounds feasible and you tend to believe them...he has power to take decision against dds...and thats what india wants right now otherwise people just do everything for vote bank..
the problem with politician is they dont even admit that there is mess...i am nota political person at all but only one person from all of political parties could impress me thats modi...

Suja have you ever been to Gujarat? My husband's native place is in Rajasthan, but in order to go there, we have to either fly to Ahmadabad and drive or get down at one of the train stations near Gujarat border and drive (2 hours). A major chunk of this road is rural roads. Yet, you will know exactly when you have crossed into Rajasthan. Its not the check post that gives it away, but the condition of the roads. Your smooth ride suddenly becomes so bumpy that you develop an instantaneous back ache. Kid you not. I did that a couple years ago, it was horrible.

no i have not been there though i so want to...even my in laws were asking me to plan for family trip😳but i have some of my relatives who are there ..in AHemdabad,surat,vadodara...see i am not gunjrati ,nor do i have any connection as such with gujrat...but still i have heard and seen a lot what modi has done for his state...even if politician could do good for their state...india would have been better country ...but koi itna bhi nahi sochta...i have heard a lot about improved infrastructure andsocial security there and if i am given a choice i would settle down in one of tier one cities of Gujarat...main north me bhi na settle hoon even its need of the hour...

And yes, Modi may have skeletons, I am looking at what he has achieved inspite and despite of that. I am sure, its hard for people who have no connection to Gujurat to fathom what this man has done, but I origin from there. I have first hand witnessed the changes he has brought about. I can give you countless examples.
I prefer not to talk about his role in the Godhra riots, coz one man cannot be blamed for something big like that. And honestly, its not like his is the only state that has seen riots of that magnitude.

And when you are facing two evils, its always best to choose the lesser of the two. That's my common sense.

I know Gujrat has grown a lot has also achieved many things out of Nothing and its completely okay with me I even applaud NaMo for his economically and luxuriously progressive policy. I appreciate the fact that in a list put forward by TOI sometime back about 10 most livable cities in India and Ahmedabad was on no. 3 and I commend NaMo for that too but really the past can't be erased from the pages of history neither can be rewritten. He may be present himself as a liberal and progressive man now but a decade before he started as a Hindu extremist and none can deny that. I was barely 5 during the whole Guj. riot thing and wasn't even born during Ayodhya kaand but even reading about it gives me nightmares, sends shivers down my spine.

Talking about UP no one can deny even Akhilesh Yadav is bringing about progressive change here from distributing lappy to wrapping up Lucknow Metro Project which will officially be completed by 2020, grabbing a Amul factory for Chak Ganjaria land and also collaborating with MNC to develop UP, giving Lucknow's Amausi airport a International makeover and a world class highway connecting Agra-Mathura to Delhi.

But can anyone deny what the hell was he doing playing doormat when people were being butchered in Muzaffarnagar can anyone deny his own initiated the riots. Can anyone deny after SP's re-entry to SATTA the GUNDARAJ in UP is on its extreme, can anyone deny that the IAS Durga was wrongfully suspended and then transferred. Can anybody deny that after almost 27 year inter-communal clashes happened in Lucknow during Eid and can anybody deny that after years their was a stampede in Aminabad market area on Diwali due to communal fight.

So can these things of people being butchered, women being raped, journalists killed and IAS alleged even children not being spared can be ignored because of the progressive attitude of these two people and because it happens everywhere / because worse has happened / because its India so lets forget it and put the sand over it???????????????

Congress didn't initiated Anti Sikh Riots of 1985 but its party workers were involved, were convicted and were let loose but that's not a Rajiv Ghandhi's albatross because being PM doesn't means that he is all knowing and could have diverted it and BTW he brought Technological Revolution in India and his mother died so what his MLA's and MP's did was justified because one man cannot be blamed right.

The decade long (1990-2000) of Anti Muslim intiatives of BJP from Ayodya to Gujrat Pogroms cannot be hanged as their albatross too cause ofcourse their being in power meant nothing right???

And the year long of SP's rule of inter-communal tensions means nothing because it can't be blamed on them being in power right???

Pregnant women bellies slit and babies taken out, a girl hiding under the shelf of her kitchen with her baby sister keeping a palm on her mouth so as to stop her from screaming as bullet gutted their father and the eye sockets of their sister plunged out, houses burnt, people beheaded, girls raped and paraded naked then burned, thousands of people displaced without a source of income and living like refugees in their own state, in their own country.

All this amounts to nothing because god damned these are people who are bringing economic rise and progression.

Whats this progression over the corpses of innocent?? whats this growth ? and ignore it all cause apparently it happens...

No it does not happens cause its not happening this progression in not "cool" it damning and its shameful..

P.S. -- Not meant to offend anyone but this topic takes out the patriot in me...
