Kids say the darndest things - Novemeber 10th
I was watching the NB recording this morning while cleaning the house. My older son (Y) was watching it too. When it was over, they were showing the dances that are to come today and he suddenly goes -
Y: Mumma look Tanveer aa gayi. (he has this smile on his face).
Me: So? Do you like her?
Y: just keeps smiling. (I am thinking he will give me something profound like she will make everyone miserable or something but nothing so I rephrase the question.
Me: So are you happy or sad to see her?
Y: Of course I am happy.

There you go my friends. Tanveer has a fan.😆 When my 5 year old can like her, I am sure there are others who do too.

Awww... thats so sweet of your little one..... i love kiddos😃

Riv I am neither Rahul pro nor Modi's comeon that man has serious skeletons*in literal sense of the word* under his chair of power ... Neither do I wan't a man (Rahul) who's a mere shadow of his predecessors and doesn't even compel people through his actions or reactions .. I know its like a fools dream but really someone fresh and appealing this election is what my take on this whole politic poll as it will be first experience as a active citizen.

Rahul is not even an Indian citizen. He is not eligible period.
And yes, Modi may have skeletons, I am looking at what he has achieved inspite and despite of that. I am sure, its hard for people who have no connection to Gujurat to fathom what this man has done, but I origin from there. I have first hand witnessed the changes he has brought about. I can give you countless examples.
I prefer not to talk about his role in the Godhra riots, coz one man cannot be blamed for something big like that. And honestly, its not like his is the only state that has seen riots of that magnitude.

And when you are facing two evils, its always best to choose the lesser of the two. That's my common sense.

nd as rivi said...riots happens everywhere...and no politician is bothered about them as it gives them opportunities to blame opposition...and most of the time these are done and planned by politician themselves ..
in UP in most of the cities muslim hindu riots happens...aligarh is one famous city for that..my hometown..where population of hindu muslin is 50-50%
people are killed there too..and modi is not CM there...so obviously modi and riots are not the same name...it happens everywhere and though i feel damn bad for people who are innocent and killed just because political ambitions...but i think when you make strong decision for a state or something related to riots...you will always be blamed

Thanks Suja. You said it better than me.
Modi has a proven track record of getting things done. He deserves a chance. And let's not forget Congress has already played a game and put one of their men at the helm i.e. President.

I have always been of the opinion, since I read Hitler's story that to clean up the mess that is India, we need a man of his ilk. Not in the sense that he has to go about killing all the people belonging to a subgroup he dislikes, but one who has the power of speech. One word from him, and the crowd would blindly follow. Someone with the strength to overhaul the system completely. Clean the mess. Maybe a dictator would not be bad for a short while. (I am a closet Hitler fan😲...oops I said it...bring it on haters😆)

Wow suju...word👏
Take the recent examples.
Congress led AP had come to standstill. The common man, daily wage workers were not able to get day to day food. Vizag was almost under curfew despite the navy presence in the city.

Assam congress led - they had major riots recently. Did anyone care to pinpoint that while media was going beserk over the 2002 godhra riots?

Mahrashtra another congress state- thousands are dying due to the draught. Minister thinks its funny to pee in the river to provide water.

No one wants to focus on these current issues, but they are willing to dig up dirt on a case that is a decade old.😕

Rivs

my husband sometimes says that india's problem lies in its democracy and its working against this country...he says now india needs dictatorship because it needs a man who can be heard among all non sense noises,,,,
i seriously want modi to have atleast one chance...i am not saying he is best or does not have any flaw...he must be having...in politics and this system you can not afford to be free from all flaws...
but when i hear him..i hear a clear vision ..thats what i like about him...he has clear vision ,he has strategies which sounds feasible and you tend to believe them...he has power to take decision against dds...and thats what india wants right now otherwise people just do everything for vote bank..
the problem with politician is they dont even admit that there is mess...i am nota political person at all but only one person from all of political parties could impress me thats modi...

rivi assam riots were done by congress and no one can deny that ...delhi and NCR being the capital is one of the worst place to live in india,,...there are countless examples rivi...political parties are doing nothing...all they do just blame one case of godhra and they forget all thousands killing and hundreds riots happening all over india...
