Just saw the new teaser and like all of you, the PONYTAIL!
Well, I thought about the ponytail for a while but perhaps, just perhaps, can we try to analyze the reason behind the ponytail? Maybe, it's not Karan but actually Asad?
Why?
People like Asad, who have always lived their lives being in control, righteous and proper very often have a hidden desire to escape from these shackles of 'perfectness.'
Just like teenagers often experiment with tattoos, body piercing, long hair etc, is it possible Asad Ahmed Khan, having lived his life the 'perfect' way is now showing streaks of rebellion?
We will see that first sign of rebellion tonight when he walks away with Zoya in front of the whole family, the molvis, the press (in short- society)
So, if the ponytail represents that little rebellion in the man who had OCD and a desire to be 'perfect,' can we accept this little change in him?
Zoya has always been a rebel. Is Asad following her footsteps?
Zoya never cared if people ridiculed her about her jeans or miniskirts, so Asad might not care if people look at him weirdly because of his ponytail. He is a great singer and guitarist. Maybe, he had a hidden desire to be a rockstar with long hair once?
Having known KSG for a while, I am pretty sure that's why he is sporting the ponytail- his portrayal of his characters goes beyond his acting skills. He looks and breathes his characters too...
