For me yesterday qubool hai was all about love or respect ! Each character was given that option and each one made their choice !
Tanveer - love was never an option for her ! But yesterday she was ripped of every inch of respect she had left ! However I don't think that matters to her ! She will be back later to cause havoc again !
Imraan - he has love and respect ! And he chose love - he told najma the truth and he told the maulvis the truth , yes maybe he will lose some respect in the eyes of society , but if he has najma by his side - it doesn't matter to him ! Yes he has gotten of easy and it will take some time for me to like his character again !
Gaffur - he is there for 2 mins only and presented with a situation ! Reporters r there to film the marriage of zoya and ayaan , the man his daughter loves ! At first he puts up a resistance - but the minute the maulvi says this will bring Ur family so much more respect in the community ! He immediately agrees ! Bcoz he is greedy for respect !
Humeira - she loves ayaan , and that's all she wants from him ! He made a promise to never leave her , to be with her forever and she is waiting for him ! But she had a limit ! And she burst ! Does that mean she is evil ! No ! Humeira wants ayaan and only ayaan ! She chooses love over respect ! She doesn't care if zoya just leaves - she just wants ayaan ! Part of me think she's obsessesd with him !
Ayaan - he is one confusing character and maybe that's Bcoz he is always confused ! He can't think for himself - and he never takes a stand ! For love or his family izzat ! - yesterday he didn't choose love ! Instead he insulted his love ! All humeira did was wait for him ! While he played best friends with Zoya and they were wrong ! Yet he insults zoya for making zoya leave calling her razias daughter ! That doesn't scream love to me ! I believe ayaan won't love humeira till she admits her mother is wrong !
Asad and Zoya ! Yes they r reuniting so how can they not be compared together in my post lol ! For me this episode in terms of love vs respect we had both ! And this was a complete 360 from one year ago ! Asad and zoya were both justified in doing what they did ! Bcoz they learnt from each other ! They have changed each other for the better ! For one year asad has repeated to zoya , that she doesn't value relationships ! She never thinks before she does anything ! And he has taught her respect for their loved ones ! Imagine if zoya were to just leave and go to Asad , people would point fingers at her and Asads family for secretly being together ! So in a way zoya save KV izzat as well ! As for asad , he learnt from zoya Love ! For one year zoya has repeated to asad that it doesn't matter what society thinks ! So he went to SM - to get back what was his ! There was only 1 way zoya was gonna leave and it had to be with asad ! And they had to do it together !
