Hey peeps! Don't worry! Gul is not trying to validate this Nikah. There was some stuff I didn't know about Muslim marriages so I asked my mother. 😳 And here's what I found.
Even if they sign the Nikah Nama, even if they say Qubool Hai, even if this time they are saying it willingly (which they are not) the Nikah would remain invalid. 😊
When the Nikah Khuwan was reciting the Nikah the name of the bride taken was Zoya d/o Mohammad Farid.
Their mutual consent would have validated the Nikah if this glitch wasn't there but since its there, the Nikah remains invalid.
To validate this Nikah, it would have to be PERFORMED once again with the right names. If then they give their consents WILLINGLY and then the Nikahnama is signed, this Nikah would be considered valid.
Now, Asad, Zoya and Ayaan don't know about this glitch but they do know that the Nikah didn't happen with their willing consent and that they were forced by the circumstances (Read, Bhainseena 😡) and those committee members. 😡 So they won't take it as a real marriage. (I really really really hope so 😵 ) Then it would be a sham and Zoya's vows about marriage will not come to play. (Please Gul! ðŸ˜)
I also got to know that a Nikah is valid if the boy is asked first when the marriage proposal comes from the girl's side. Also, a free and adult woman can marry without a wali.
So its not a blooper. Najma's wedding is valid.
AsYa could have married in absence of Aapi Jeeju. ðŸ˜
Now since I have no more doubts, I'll stop singing lalalalala. 😆
