I will add that i am glad that TRP's have shown what the audience wants. Despite the makers wanting to gain attention and TRP's they did not get them. Goes to show where the makers should draw the line.

Ordinary trp people love to see that and shed tears on such regressive drama
Glorifying violence is the latest trend
Worst the above said instance of dropping a girl and throwing a girl out is glamorizing romance in the name of passion

Though so much is been shown on tv are we ready to stop watching such stuff we crib and rant but we still watch though we know its wrong Cant blame trp audience because they don t give so much time into the story

Hey great post and I agree no less. I haven't seen the episode yet and its definitely not about this show but the telly TV in general. They are actually glorifying such regressive behaviour in the name of drama. I hardly watch any serial so I am not aware of the show that u mentioned but all in all, this is actually a very sorry state of affairs.

But on a serious note, you are absolutely right. The regressiveness shown on Indian Telly hits a new low every month. Gone are the days when EK used to serve extra marital affairs with a topping of divorce, multiple kids from multiple wives and people coming back from death. GUL has taken Indian telly a step ahead and has redefined Sadism. She has mocked Marriage, destiny, karma, God and everything possible on this show...

It seems the makers believe that serials can only thrive on cheap and regressive stuff. There used to be a point when I felt that finally there is a show that will not resort to some cheap drama and contrived plot just in the name of twist. But I was proven wrong and how 😆 It seems Ms. Khan is now hell-bent on breaking even Ekta's record. That's what you call sheer brilliance. 👏
