I am worried that violence gives a kick to this generation of viewers...

Rest..u said it all babes👏

Yeah man..Am appalled when i see people gushing about the male lead manhandling the female lead..Am not talking about QH..Just a general statement..Its sick to romanticize violence..And am supposed to think this is some epic love story?😆

even worse made her sleep outside on their first night & that was actually supposed to be angsty and romantic
and what followed the next day morning annoyed me🤢 such a cheap behaviour from the male lead🤢

I've watched IPK and QH oly..so i dono about the entire Hindi tellyworld and i cannot comment on what yo are talking aboutbut I can tell yo this is not the same in tamil serials..i don follow any serial but I've observed that almost all the female leads work and i've never seen sexual assault or something like wat they showed in QH precap yest😆 I've seen some dubbed hindi serials in tamil and the female leads are shown to be simply sitting in the home wearing gawdy makeup😆 I'm not comparing tamil and hindi serials..there are worse cases in tamil serials😆I hope my statement doesnt get twisted😆

Glorifying violence is the latest trend
Worst the above said instance of dropping a girl and throwing a girl out is glamorizing romance in the name of passion

Though so much is been shown on tv are we ready to stop watching such stuff we crib and rant but we still watch though we know its wrong Cant blame trp audience because they don t give so much time into the story

We are ready to buy and they are selling it '
Day we stop it they will stop selling it

Sure TRPs will sky rocket this week

Agreed..But yeah, i really have decided to stop watching from today cos i find the whole plot sick..I don mind separation or angst..I was disgusted with the humbistar fiasco but still continued to watch because there was still some sanity left in the show..Trust me, it took a lot for me to get over Asad's initial behavior and his statement about Zoya not deserving parents and accept & feel the love story..But now, i just don care anymore..I don feel sorry for a single character on this show😆

Hey great post and I agree no less. I haven't seen the episode yet and its definitely not about this show but the telly TV in general. They are actually glorifying such regressive behaviour in the name of drama. I hardly watch any serial so I am not aware of the show that u mentioned but all in all, this is actually a very sorry state of affairs.

Yup good for you you don watch😆

Firstly let me state here that I am immensely happy and relieved to read your post and make the acquaintance of people like you⭐️
Yesterday's wu made my head spin, the precap made my stomach turn but it was the content in some of the posts that made me cry.

The daily news is rife with domestic violence stories, rapes and honor killings, we the public rant and cry about wanting to bringing about change, deploring the state of the psyche of the community at large, yet we sit and cheer when we see such acts on our screens all in the name of drama?
They say art imitates life, but it's a vicious circle as life ends up imitating art. Of course, we all know that gross injustices happen all the time but when they are shown in popular shows, they get magnified out of proportion & find there way back in society in very twisted ways. So instead of helping to control these evils, these shows end up advertising them. My problem is not with Ayaan or Asad or any other character, it is with the audience who is so generous in heaping praise on what is so blatantly wrong.

Yes I know we are the educated lot and we know how to differentiate real from reel, but I say, please take a moment to think about the not so educated audience i.e the masses that Gul caters to. The ramifications can only be detrimental on the more susceptible amongst the audience.

Sick enough to make us puke and question our own judgement for watching this show in the first place. Its really sad that a show which started with a strong storyline and an amazing team of actors is dependent on such cheap tracks and disgusting characters ( read : billo) just to secure the first position in the trp race 😡

QH is actually the least regressive of them all! Zoya doesn't cook, doesn't wear traditional clothes, has a freedom of speech and everything! Asad was ready to accept her as she is

Wearing jeans and having the right to scream on top of your voice doesn't make her progressive..Why is it that the whole thing is only about Asad and Ayaan? Zoya and Humeira & their opinions don matter at all? Their opinions just don matter? So much for having freedom of speech😆
