Part 6

These two have started sorts of their live-in journey under the formal marital license without any but one promise to each other - separation after six months...However, after the confession on Holi, Asad has mellowed down significantly and continues to do so. Zoya as we noticed before is caught between the ambivalence of reality and perception...

Now began a journey of this ambivalent Zoya trying to find a path out of this maze...

Today saw something different...

Asad came in after a day's hard work home to find his room rearranged beyond his expectations. However, most of the things he finds in the room are not unknown to him as Zoya had shared most of this with him in their tender moments before - except her flirting with Salman's poster...

Asad became AAK again but had a nice combination of Asad and AAK - self controlled, matter of factly but still very much tolerant towards Zoya's extremely immature behaviour. When Asad walked towards Zoya to collect his blanket, their internal connection worked again - calculative steps of Asad towards Zoya and Zoya with big fearful eyes - steady intense eye contact...a sight reminiscent of their early days together!

Asad did not complain when he went to sleep by poolside, he did not even mention his neck sprain himself - Zoya , however, missed the first opportunity here - Unlike Zoya she did not appreciate Asad's sleeping outside, she did not show any compassion when noticed his neck sprain... Why Zoya? Asad ka dard aaj tumne mehsoos kyon nahi kiya? Why did you not feel Asad's pain today? Have your wavelengths changed so much in one night?

Asad continued to show tolerance and self restrain through Zoya's continued silly pranks and sorts of loud misbehaviour as he knows she is trying to drive him crazy. He kept redirecting Zoya beautifully. (Loved the Asad I saw today!)

Mitwa... a spicy, shirtless, wet Asad walked out of shower and Zoya bumped into him - kuch toh hua magar utna nahin jitna hona chahiye tha! Something happened in Zoya's heart but the strings did not chime good enough - The mersmerisation, the smitten look and the Dhak Dhak was missing from Zoya's eyes and heart - she was only lost - another missed opportunity - Asad noticed though - Aw poor Soul - Aur kitna intezar baki hai? How much longer does he have to wait to have it come from Zoya 's side?

Zoya missed another opportunity of saying some kind words when Asad's neck sprain was being discussed at the breakfast table. Nothing else, but an affectionate look with care oozing through Zoya's eyes could have done the trick!

Asad, however, did not miss the opportunity to be protective towards Zoya from Ayaan...his eyes and stare did the job! Ayaan - don't you dare...!

Untold emotions: Asad certainly feels disappointed at Zoya's loud behaviour but true to his feelings for Zoya he is being very tolerant. Asad certainly missed not getting any affection from Zoya when he was in pain. Asad definitely missed the passion that lacked when Zoya was in his arms...Asadis very respectful of Zoya's integrity as he always lets her get out of his arms very gingerly...
