I have just finished watching yesterday's episode of QH.. yes its quite late.. because even though i am still watching QH without quitting, even i don't have the same enthusiasm to watch the episode when it airs or soon after.. but after seeing today's episode, i once again started thinking why exactly CVs have taken so much risk and waded into an area which is so controversial.. And here are some of my thoughts...
Was this track planned from the beginning and is ZoYaan something that the writers have penned from the beginning? perhaps or perhaps not.
From the very beginning of Qh, there have always been this fear of ZoYaan in the minds of most who watch the serial because majority have started to like Asad and Zoya as a couple from the beginning itself.
But there are few, who felt that ZoYaan is something inevitable and who in a way looked forward to that and their theories and predictions add fuel to the fears of the others.
Those who predicted ZoYaan happening based their theories on few incidents in the serial which looked like foreshadowing and on the old synopsis posted on ZEE TV website.
Now coming to the incidents which foreshadowed Zoyaan, the thing which most people mark is Ayaan's words that a girl is going to come between them and Zoya was seen passing them right that moment.. this may be a foreshadowing but it could very well be something just put to confuse viewers.
Why i am saying this is because, in the next couple of episodes of QH, there were much more concrete symbolisms and foreshadowing which pointed towards Asad and Zoya as soul mates and Ayaan and Humaira as couples.( cannot go into details here but if anyone is interested, i can give reference)
And then after several hits and misses Ayaan and Zoya met each other finally during HOLI.. But there were no sparks when they met. Ayaan wasn't in love with Humaira then and Zoya is the kind of girl Ayaan used to like. But still Ayaan didn't fall for Zoya.. If ZoYaan was really meant to happen as a couple and if Ayaan was to fall for Zoya, surly some feelings would have developed.. At least from Ayaan's side.. But Ayaan and Zoya's relationship has always being that of friends and very platonic.
And then after even Ayaan fell in love with Humaira, and Ayaan and humaira's and Asad and Zoya's relationship has progressed so much, why have the CVs taken this turn towards a Nikah of Ayaan and Zoya?
What i feel is that this is nothing but a way forwards to create more drama between the two families.
The Cvs have always stated that this is actually a family drama and GK has said that the real story is about the clashes between the two brothers Asad and Ayaan.. why Asad and Ayaan? because Asad is the eldest son of one family and Ayaan the other family... both have been too close since childhood and despite being sandwhiched between all the politics of both families, both have manged to forge a bond which is like no other.
Now what more drama can we get to see in a serial than seeing this bond break?.. its evil and its disheartening to see it, but this is going to happen.. Asad's angry look towards Ayaan on the new montage is evidence.
So what i am trying to say here is that this track and future story is not really about a ZoYaan.. This invalid Nikah of Ayaan and Zoya is just a means through which they are going to pave way for future family fueds and brothers' clashes.. Ayaan is not going to fall in love with Zoya and vise vasa.
Zoya is not going to forget about Asad and stick to her Ta umr nibaaongi wada with Ayaan here.
So if we as viewers can stop seeing the serial through a tunnel vision, ie, stop seeing it just from the angle of an Asad and Zoya and Ayaan, then i think we would actually like what was been shown.
After seeing yesterday's episode this struck me.. finally a wedding happened in QH.. Najma was looking so pretty and very much a beautiful bride. Imran and najma looked genuinely very happy.. Zoya went in to so much trouble and learnt about imran and tanveer.. but fate did not help her in stopping Imran and Najma's Nikah.. Now what awaits for Najma?.. So many things like this are happening but its sad that no one is even discussing or analyzing anything accept ZoYaan.
So can we try to stop panicking with each new peace of news about Zoya and Ayaan Nikah and concentrate on the story as a whole?
Because this nikah of Ayaan and Zoya is not valid and CVs are also not that much of fools to put each and everything which would make the Nikah invalid while they created the happening of this 'Accidental' Nikah.
The reason why they have put everything which actually makes this nikah invalid is because they have from the very beginning planned it this way and because ultimately they will dissolve this marriage declaring it invalid.
But there is a purpose for this track .. so before that purpose is served they would obviously not declare that.. Asad telling Zoya that they will have to accept this nikah is also a part of their purpose.. So can we not jump into conclusions with each and every small thing that we hear and let the track unfold completely before judging and bashing?
And here i want to take note of an article which i read today which i found really hilarious.. the article stated that some one has filed a petition against Gul Khan saying that she has made a mockery of Islam by showing Zoya and Ayaan's nikah that way.
I was one person who wes very skeptical about this track and this community nikah from the time i heard about it. but after seeing the actual episode, i knew that GK knew what she was doing.. And what she has actually done is show that this Nikah cannot be valid.. And if she has done somethings to make a nikah invalid, how is she mocking the way Nikah is being performed among Muslims?
So it looks like the person who filed this petition actually has not understood a thing which was shown in the episode and why it was shown. Does this person want GK to have stuck to all the principles of a Muslim Nikah during that ceremony?
If so, then it would make Ayaan and Zoya's Nikah valid and then we are doomed.. .. Oh the irony of some people's thinking!
