Are accidental marriages recognised in Islam?

By the look of it, it will be an accidental marriage with neither the bride nor the groom wanting to marry the other. Will the mere fulfilment of rituals make it a valid marriage when there is no free consent on both sides?

Ya, that's what I meant. Where it appears on the face of it that a marriage has happened but actually it has not happened because the bride and groom were not giving their consent for marriage when they uttered their acceptance.

Most definitely not. But i guess thats where the Tata Sky spoiler fits in. Maybe when Asad gets to know of this, being a man of morals that he is, he may ask Zoya to go ahead and say yes to this Nikkah. And then when Zoya may see how serious Asad is, she might give in.
Because the thing is that the Maulvi didn't know its being done without their consent. They were in wedding clothes, behind the veil, seated with the other couples, had said yes. So how much the Nikkah is valid or how it would be made valid, we still have to see.

The nikah becomes invalid if there is no Wali of the bride, also an accidental marriage (when any of the bride or groom is unaware of the nikah) is invalid in Islam.

Because it;s Gul's show and she wants to cause more pain to QH viewers 😡 and this was the only way by which she decided to bring Zoya into SM
