Impressionable minds, what can we say? There is no one to guide them.
Erotica is normally frowned upon and you don't go to your lit prof or parents or someone asking for guidance. Most are inexperienced. And look at what's being shown. Anger is sexy, forcing yourself is attractive.

i am not so much into historical romance!
the new M&Bs are not that good 🤢

That's cool...a lot of people don't like regency...I fell in love with Regency when I started reading Jane Austen...then I read Georgette Heyer...these are all regency but with the sex. Once I got started, I tried a few modern writers and they do include sex every now and then..

inexperience - the main hindrance while writing an erotica! even when i am writing it, it's a little difficult since i have never experienced how it feels! i have to depend on my knowledge of sex 😆

when i read an erotica i dont only look at sex! its the entire plot with its elements, setting, background and characters in short its the entire package! and i am not a fan of regency

Sorry dear if it sounded like I selling you regency...didn't mean to
Me too...I prefer reading a story that has great characterizations and good story telling...the sex is a very small part of the whole story...

BDSM doesn't really go down with me well! it's too violent while M&B is too hearts and flowery. A rich hot-shot billionaire PLAYBOY can only fall so madly in love with a poor girl in movies! they don't show reality! but then i need something for time pass plus in m&b the erotic part is not gross hence i read it!

BDSM is a life choice that many men and women subscribe too and I won't judge them for it but no fictional erotica ever describes sex the way it actually is. Without meaning to be rude/crude/blunt - there is nothing spectacular or out of this world about sex. Yes it can be fun but at the end of the day it is just a natural behavior pattern that all animals exhibit. It is society that has overhyped the act.

Sorry to butt in but I used to love georgette heyer. I read them all when I was a teen. She was brilliant. Have you read any of her murder mysteries as well? 😊

It's a reward mechanism for animals and it takes their species forward...nothing more, nothing less😆
