- Also as it was pointed out by several people that Nikhat wore a red dupata (color of love / marriage) and Najma wore a pink dupata (color of friendship) therefore could it be that the SBB segment that we saw it not coz of Najma's rishta with Imran it agreed upon but cause they decided to stay friends? They seemed very friendly on that dinner table😕 and that too in front of Hassina bi- IMO her future DIL acting that way does not seem possible😕.

i doubt Najma would stay friends with Imran esp after she finds out about Tanveer angle...Tanveer is their family dushman

PS: are we viewers ever happy?

- we hated arku Asad - the way he slapped Zoya and now ppl on IF want that arku Asad back

-we hated that Asad could not smile or ask Zoya to stay back rather than wishing her a safe flight - but now we complain that he smiles a lot and its too lovey dovey and expressive 😕

- we wanted separation - but when the SR happened resulting in separation we hated it and wanted ASYA together again

-we wanted the rona dhona to end and get happy scenes - now we want the angst back

- we wanted ASYA to be like any other normal couple and get to know each other - now when they are getting to know each others we are complaining as to y no nikka

-we wanted to get rid of Tanveer - now IF has post welcoming Tanveer back with open arms

-we wanted Najma to get more screen space - now that she is we complain that we hate her

-we wanted Nikhat to stand up to Hassina bi - and now that she did we feel sorry for her and hoped that the rishta did not break😕

and the list goes on and on ... so the question is are we ever happy? i feel bad for Gul and her team...they give us an episode with cute ASYA and ARYA moments ...a perfect balance of both angst and happiness and instead a candle gets more attention🤣

Great points...I am actually mostly happy and also don't fret over the tracks too much because overall Gul and her team is doing a great job. I love the characters and their characterization...that's what I like to see in a show/movie/book and I am getting that. Bas!

Rivs...as I mentioned in my comment to pri...a very similar incident happened when i was 8 years old. A well meaning relative of mine said- teri shaadi kabhie nahin hogi- for some other reason (I was a chubby child lol) and that stuck in my mind forever. I still haven't forgotten that statement and have proved her wrong. How I wish I could go back that relative.These things do happen.

Regarding the episode, it was an okayish one for me...

Ayaan - Humeira scene: This for me the was the scene of the day. The conflict, angst, guilt was all beautifully portrayed. Ketki tends to be a little OTT but even then, I thought Vikrant was bang on and nailed the scene with his expressions. So Ayaan admits that he loves Humeira; at a time when Humzie wants to be left alone. So Ayra are at that point when Zoya left Asad after the infamous SR and went to the orphanage.

But the angst in the AsYa scene was more understandable than the one I see in Ayra. He can always come around and say he realized her importance when she was sick and gone. That's why I don't find AyRa at the same level as AsYa yet...maybe something bigger is coming

Good! Ayaan as a character needs to grow up and in the next weeks we will get there as he will have to deal with a lot of issues: humeira, the potential fallout from todays episode, seeing Nikhat suffer... Am looking forward to the drama and confrontation with a lot of glee. 😃

Asad- Zoya scene: I am very bored with AsYa as of now. They are overexposed (characters and actors) and at this point their scenes do not imho serve any purpose to the story. Also, I have realised that I am a cynical old woman 😆 - the teenage romance does nothing to me at all..The cheesiness has been putting me off. Also, I am quite bugged seeing Asad transform into a love-sick puppy and Zoya being as immature and interfering as ever. What I dont get is that these two people have gone through what was a very very traumatic experience in their lives. While I understand that they need some amount of light heartedness to restore normalcy, why such scenes?

Coming to tuesdays episode, their conversation in the bedroom was cute - with the typical nok-jhok; But I didnt quite enjoy the english teacher scene. While I get it some teachers are rather harsh and say demeaning things that undermine a child's confidence - love, marriage ?? is that what a teacher tells a 8 year old? Relatives are more likely to make comments about marriage.

For me the scene would have worked if the English teacher had said something to the effect that he wont get a good job/ amount to something in life and then they go there to prove to her that he is now the Asad Ahmed Khan who supposedly runs this construction business and then he introduces Zoya as his wife-to-be.

Teachers can sometimes be insensitive too...maybe she was trying to nudge him to be more fun loving but it obviously left a scar in his mind

I find SJ to be OTT at the moment. Maybe this OTT giggling and loudness and put on fake smiles (her smiles arent reaching her eyes - a pity cos she does have a lovely smile) is on purpose - to again highlight that she needs to grow up and this and the coming tracks will show us that; still I find it very grating. Come on, this Tanveer experience should have toned her down a bit at least. In the teacher scene, her expressions were frankly annoying. Can she please tone down her exuberance and stop overacting? Also, I get that her hurry in marrying off Najma is a plot point; but it is bugging.

I see your point but I feel the reason AsYa scenes are going slow is to build on their relationship from scratch. They went through so much turmoil that they are practically at ground zero right now. Asad is way ahead in terms of his feelings and realization. You are right- they are exaggerating Zoya's impulsive and childish nature because her growth is yet to come. At times she does act quite mature but then at times i feel she doesn't know how to handle so much happiness...she has probably never been so happy on the inside before

Imran-Nikhat-Najma: No comments as such, can the characters please use their brains more, please? Dilshad - whats wrong with her? Agreed, Nikhat lied and said that she was okay - but considering that she was a part of a similar triangle and that the relations between them are so soured, why is she in a hurry to get Najma married?

Dilshaad and Asad are just seeing Najma's happiness...she is their baby and I feel they are blinded by their love for her (right now) Hope haseena and imran will turn them off and they will be able to guide najma appropriately

Boy, I have cribbed enough!

But Wednesday shall be good! The story shall move - and we get to see an angry Asad (please please please) after centuries. 😃
