I don't know why but its shown in QH that all prospective dulha's think that Nikah is dark , not beautiful...andhe ho gaye hai kya sab...however outside the TVbox, you won't find even a single guy saying that Nikhat is not good-looking/ beautiful girl...i am surely everybody would like to be married to her...such is the tragedy of being inside the TVbox, Nahin!!!!!

Could be but it does happen where the girl with beautiful face, sharp features is considered not good looking if she has dark skin.
There is a proverb in Kannada language " Kempu Donku mucchitu" meaning if someone is light complexed, even if their features are not that great, they will still be considered pretty. Fair skin hides the ugliness kind of a meaning. It does happen in our society.

I don't know about Nikhat , but girls with dark complexion even if they have good features are alwyas considered not beautiful in the arranged marriage market in India.. And that's the truth may be Cvs want to highlight that part of society which exist in India even today

Like people not talking to each other, earning money without working, not using DNA test for finding out certain things 😃

i dont think that the Actress playing Nikhat is dark or not beautiful, nor are the makers saying that, they are only trying to potray a side of our society, which even is this day and age will hassal a brides parents for her not being fair or beautiful, or slim or tall.

today with all the emphasis made on size zero and fairness creams, little girls of even 12 and 13 do not believe they are beautiful if they have dark complexion. even today how pretty the girl is is more important even if the groom looks life a buffalo. the grooms families try to swindell the girls parents by taking a huge dowry in the name of marrying a girl who is not goodlooking.

i feel very proud of what Nikhat did today. she stood up for herself, and her parents. it is better not to marry than marry into a family that is full of greed and her to be husband is not only spineless twit, but also a two timing bas*****ed.

i'll bet every rupee in india that Imran is seeing innocent and sweet Najma. i hope when Asad finds out he beats the crap out of him. i really want Asad to go all wolverine on Imran, for playing with the lives of both his sisters.

I wont agree with you coz if z girl is havin dark complexion n she is well accepted either she is rich or z guy really loves her which is very minim coz even today in most cases fair complexion is considered unfortunately :/
