i dont think that the Actress playing Nikhat is dark or not beautiful, nor are the makers saying that, they are only trying to potray a side of our society, which even is this day and age will hassal a brides parents for her not being fair or beautiful, or slim or tall.
today with all the emphasis made on size zero and fairness creams, little girls of even 12 and 13 do not believe they are beautiful if they have dark complexion. even today how pretty the girl is is more important even if the groom looks life a buffalo. the grooms families try to swindell the girls parents by taking a huge dowry in the name of marrying a girl who is not goodlooking.
i feel very proud of what Nikhat did today. she stood up for herself, and her parents. it is better not to marry than marry into a family that is full of greed and her to be husband is not only spineless twit, but also a two timing bas*****ed.
i'll bet every rupee in india that Imran is seeing innocent and sweet Najma. i hope when Asad finds out he beats the crap out of him. i really want Asad to go all wolverine on Imran, for playing with the lives of both his sisters.
