I think Najma was Imran's rebound. It could've happened before he got engaged to Nikhat. He wasn't really sure of the rishta because his mom could create problems. So he might've had an affair with her. Maybe he no longer meets Najma. Najma knows her mom and bro will be cool with it. (It will be hypocrisy if they get angry at her now.) So I see no point why she's hiding unless she isn't sure about Immi. Or maybe she knows about Nikhat too.
Why Immi still has that locket? Its fancy, gold too maybe. Cool yo!
