The start of the holy month of Ramzaan will be decided by seeing the new moon. (Remember the scene where both the Khan and SIddiqui family were waiting for the moon) This also goes for Eid, it will be decided whenever the new moon of the month can be seen.

Hope this explains it a bit. Di, sorry. If you have a more clear explanation, please feel free to do so.

I think the exact day for Eid is determined a day or two before as it depends on the phase of the moon...I have seen announcements in the paper and heard it on radio also

The jalebi scene was also cute!! Glad to see Akdu slowly becoming romantic and opening up, at the same time AsYa maintaining the USP nok-jokhs!

Was hoping to see more romance in the mehendi and bangle scene. I know Zoya had the mehendi on when Asad chose the bangles. But, perhaps after she washed it off, he could have put some on her hands before fulfilling the last wish!

i was about to write that scene but stopped- so far Akdu has only gifted what he has imagined...not tried to touch her and put it on her. Was just trying to keep Asad in character. Perhaps, later he will even start putting the bangles on her wrist😆

The last wish was a surprise. Glad you didn't go the cliched route and gave us something different. How perfect was the Asad-designed moon globe! Lovely idea!! 👍🏼
