They can pray without moving... and if thwy can't even recite they can just think about it... intentions are what count, even if one can't stand up or is really tried they can pray while sitting.. isn't that convenient?

Wow...I am not a religious person but shouldn't a true prayer be from the heart and not based on a certain posture? So what does a person who is bedridden do?

Aren't you worried then that they might learn to be like Razia or Tanveer? Why would they only learn the bad things that Zoya does, can they not ever learn the good things?
Also int his day and age, where men and women do everything equally, and If a man prays with his hands in one way and he gets to go to heaven, why would a woman not be able to do the same!
As someone else said, regardless of where your hands are placed, its what is in your heart that matters. So if Tanveer were to pray with her hands in the correct place, does she get to go to heaven after all her misdeeds?

I wasn't talking about heaven or hell... i am no one to judge anyone, neither am I perfect, I am yet to learn many things... He (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala jee) is the only jugde and every deed is based on niyat or intention so if tanveer (or any person like she) really changes and asks for forgiveness then there is place for everyone in heaven, although i don't know who will go to heaven and who to hell; and I didn't in anyway mean tht zoya (or a real person like she) will go to hell if she doesn't correct her posture, if her intentions are right she might even go to heaven.. as I said I am no judge so I don't really know where anyone is going... I don't even know about myself.. in fact I do many things I shouldn't do, listening to music being one of 'em... u are taking my words completely out of context

Heaven and hell are far from our understanding I guess and even a person who we think is really good might end up in hell, just because his/her intentions were to show off or something bad.. or maybe a person who we think is really bad because that person is moo phat, might go to heaven because his/her good deeds and intentions outweighed her/his bad ones

Seriously, There is no specific way for men and women to pray in Islam. The prophet(Peace Be Upon Him) Did not say Women have to pray differently. In Sahih Bukhari, Our prophet Swallaho Alaihewasallam(peace be upon him)said "Pray as you have seen me to pray". He didn't show any different way to pray for ladies, nor gave special ruling, and even Aisha (May Allah Have Mercy Upon Her) Did not say the prophet(Peace Be Upon Him) showed me to pray differently than he, so please, refrain from posting or giving fatwas.

Well, I'm sorry if I offended u in any way... I know all tht matters is the niyat (intention), so I didn't mean tht if a woman prays like a man she'll go to hell (heaven and hell are far from it, intentions are very important innamal-aamaaloo-bin-niyaat)... I am no one to decide on tht, but it's better for a woman to be more concealed while praying.. anyway, let's leave it at tht.. I don't wanna get into a fight with anyone

Answer only if u want to: where do u get ur information from?

Yes u're right, and I didn't say anything about sajda or her hands while she was standing, I was talking about takbeer and the her hands during du'a

The title honestly doesn't make sense. Men pray with their hands on their bellies. And they have their butts high up in the air during sajda. I'm pretty sure Zoe wouldn't be so cruel to poor Asad.

No it's sunnah to have the hands close together, therefore not compulsory, I've seen many people do it as Zoya does

Yeah neither do I, I watched it after a long time, and it was this episode in which she prays.. so I just made this post without thinking.. I guess I shouldn't have.. not here at least
I kinda like things done the way they are supposed to be done.. in fact when in ehmmh maanvi got cancer and they showed some some stupid stuff which made it quite evident that they didn't research enough, I made a similar post about research
But religion is more of a sensitive topic, I shouldn't have poked it

Stopped watching the show a long time ago but your post made me curious!

In Islam there's only one way to pray. A man and a woman doesn't pray differently. Our Prophet PBUH have told us how to pray:) Some muslims may say a man prays like this and a woman like that but these are innovations which muslims should stay away from.

Till date this show has not shown anything correctly about Islam so just ignore it dear because QH is not about Islam. Many people want a disclaimer but 4Lions are ignoring our request 😔

Fans of QH I am not bashing the show so don't take it wrongly!!

I agree I was not targeting surbhi either I wrote zoya not surbhi, and I also wrote cvs need to research NOT SURBHI

Yeah but the line says Muslim Social Drama which doesnt go with what they are showing in the show. People are not complaining about the actors they are doing their job but it's the Production house who should do some research and the weird thing is that some of the people from the PH are actually muslims:/ We only want a disclaimer but they are ignoring it therefore people get frustrated:(
