Its just a show. They arent teaching muslims or anyone how to pray or anything. And don't forget the actors are not muslims, and when muslims go out and act in other religion shows, they arent perfect either. I'm a muslim myself, and I don't think the post is required.

Stopped watching the show a long time ago but your post made me curious!

In Islam there's only one way to pray. A man and a woman doesn't pray differently. Our Prophet PBUH have told us how to pray:) Some muslims may say a man prays like this and a woman like that but these are innovations which muslims should stay away from.

Till date this show has not shown anything correctly about Islam so just ignore it dear because QH is not about Islam. Many people want a disclaimer but 4Lions are ignoring our request 😔

Fans of QH I am not bashing the show so don't take it wrongly!!

this is just a show..revolving and having the Muslim sentiments as a backdrop..
it is not a die hard Muslim show...
the actors potraying the characters are doing it to the best
of their ability. .
give them some credit. .
they and all the people involved would not want to
hurt anyone's sentiments...

Yeah but the line says Muslim Social Drama which doesnt go with what they are showing in the show. People are not complaining about the actors they are doing their job but it's the Production house who should do some research and the weird thing is that some of the people from the PH are actually muslims:/ We only want a disclaimer but they are ignoring it therefore people get frustrated:(

I was actually impressed at the fact that they got all the sequencing right as well as the fact that she didnot interrupt the prayer to talk until after the salaam. I thought it was a very good effort keeping in mind it is being done by a non-muslim
I wouldn't go into these nitty gritty details because as someone commented different fiqa of muslims pray in different ways with minor deviations

Prayer is obligatory for the Muslim whatever state he/she is in, so long as he remains of sound mind. If a person is sick but is able to pray standing, then he should pray standing; if he cannot, then he should pray sitting; if he is unable to do that, then he should pray lying on his side; if he cannot do that then he should pray lying on his back, because of the report narrated by al-Bukhaari (1066) from 'Imraan ibn Husayn, who said: I had haemorrhoids, so I asked the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he said: "Pray standing, and if you cannot, then (pray) sitting, and if you cannot then (pray) on your side."

You can read more about the status of prayer in Islam on this website (If interested) http://islamqa.info/en/33694

Hope I helped 😊

a) I am not a Muslim so cannot vouch for how one prays
b) Irrespective of whether it was right or wrong, the sense of calm Zoya had about her was beautiful
c) This is a forum that does not propagate preaching (but everyone does) so you can put forth your "this is so so wrong" too
e) It is at the end of the day a show but I am sure Gul Khan has scored some brownie points with God because she is doing a commendable job

Let's just be appreciative shall we?

If Only the posture matters for God to hear us. Totally agree that a true prayer should be from the heart and not the postures.

What about paraplegic humans who may not be able to perform the prayers as per the so called requirement, Is God never gonna listen to their prayers? what a load of BS. 😕
