Another fast paced and engaging episode in QH.
Zoya, hats off to you girl. She showed her character today. After the initial shock at the iftaar dinner, she collected her self and calmly confronted Tanveer. Any other woman could have lost her control and bawled away in silence.
She knows Tanveer better than anyone at the KV. Not only did she ask for a proof but when not satisfied by the medical report, demanded another confirmation which Tanveer readily provided.
Did Zoya check the date on the report? I guess not. I wonder if tomorrow, before leaving or after her visit to the dargah, she will come back to check the report again. Tanveer is smart but as we have all seen this week, has left loopholes in her fool proof plan. In her excitement and eagerness to show Zoya down, she might have not changed the date on the report (fingers crossed)
Loved the convesartion on the bench.
A few months ago, it was always Zoya seeking Asad's approval and his respect. What an irony- life has come a full circle. Asad, who has been so embarrassed by this pregnancy reveal, was startled that Zoya respected him for his decision. Who could understand the plight of an abandoned child better than Zoya?
"Aap auron se alag hain Mr. Khan, iss liye main aapko pya..."
Asad understood what she wanted to say. One could tell by his expression, how heartbroken he was.
Today, was a milestone episode for Asad and Zoya.
We have all complained that a true relationship between a man and woman should have love, trust and respect.
There has been no dearth in love
Ajmer gave them the trust.
And today, the bench scene gave them the respect for each other.
By freeing Asad of his guilt, Zoya has earned his respect for a life time and by choosing the path of responsibility, Asad has earned that respect from her.
What a beautiful way to show the evolution of a true love story.
I am glad Dilshaad didn't stop her this time. Kis mooh se rokti Zoya ko?

Zoya is very close to the truth. She is at the dargah, during Ramzaan. She will stumble upon one of the two truths...either her abbu or her light bulb will turn on and she will go back to check the reports.
I feel it would be the latter as Ghafoor can wait but Asad can't.
