Hellooo!!!!! 😃 And i'm back with the 3rd part!!! Here's a looonnnggg update, just to make up for the previous one! 😛 hope you guys like it! enjoy! 😃

Part 3

"Ammi! Are you sure it isn't Christmas?" Najma asked her mother as she stood in front of the fridge, open mouthed.

"Yes, I'm absolutely sure that people don't celebrate Christmas in July" her mother replied as she made breakfast.

"Then why are there so many chocolates in our fridge? There's no way they could've magically appeared here, overnight! Santa must have dropped in early".

"Morning, Phupi! Morning, tamatar!" Zoya called as she entered the dining room.

"Good morning, Zoya" mother and daughter replied together.

"Zoya, are these your chocolates?" Najma asked her.

"Yeah. I got them yesterday night from that 24-hour store nearby" she replied, brushing past her and grabbing a pizza box from the fridge.

"Ya Allah! You went there alone? That too after dinner?!" Dilshad exclaimed, already horrified at the thought of how Asad would react when he came to know about it.

"Of course not, Phuphi!" Zoya said as she put the pizza in the oven and set the temperature. "I took Mr. Khan along with me".

"Bhaijaan went with you? That too at night? And he didn't even shout at you?"

"Of course he did! I just ignored him, as usual" Zoya said, trying hard to keep her voice normal as memories from last night came flooding back.

-.-.-.-.-.-

"Stop behaving like you're twelve, Asad Ahmed Khan" the lion chided himself while looking into the mirror, straightening his tie. "You're an adult so it's high time you started behaving like one. It was just a kiss and she probably doesn't even remember it. Be cool. Act normal. And ignore her for as long as possible" he muttered to himself and took a deep breath before finally making his way out of his room and then immediately wishing that he hadn't chosen this very moment to make an entrance.

-.-.-.-.-.-

"Why do you need so may chocolates anyway, Zoya?"DIlshad asked her. "Couldn't you wait until morning?"

"I was PMSing, Phupi! You know how bad things can get! And it's even worse with me. I keep getting crankier and crankier till I don't get chocolates. So I just had to get them!"

"Ahem, ahem" came a voice from behind them and all the ladies spun around to find a highly embarrassed looking Asad standing behind them. Zoya turned crimson as she realized that he'd heard the part about her PMSing.

"Good morning, everyone" Asad said, and made his way to his chair, carefully avoiding any form of eye contact with Zoya. He hated walking in when the ladies were discussing their feminine problems. But at least he knew why Zoya was so desperate for chocolates yesterday. They had a silent breakfast as both Asad and Zoya clearly avoided even looking at each other and the other two decided not to embarrass them further by starting a conversation.

"Ammi, I'm leaving" Asad said, getting up from the table and fixing his tie. " Allah Haafis".

"Allah Haafis, beta" Dilshad said. "You do remember you're supposed to come home early today, right? We have to go to your cousin's walima tonight." Asad nodded his confirmation and left, finally allowing Zoya to relax into her chair and breathe a sigh of relief.

"Phupi, I'll go get dressed, okay? Aapi's gonna be here any minute. She needs me to go with her, somewhere" she said and left as well. Dilshad clasped her forehead in horror as she'd completely forgotten about Zoya's Aapi being in India and that she was supposed to come over this morning.

"Ya Allah! How can I be so forgetful? Zoya's Aapi is supposed to come today and I haven't even prepared anything for her!" she told Najma, who merely shrugged in response.

"That's for you to manage now, Ammi. I'm leaving for college. Allah Haafis!" she said and left, feeling a little sorry that she wouldn't be able to meet Zoya's elder sister. Najma really liked her.

The doorbell rang just as Zoya made her way out of her room. She opened it to find her elder sister standing there with a huge smile adorning her face.

"Aapi!" she squealed and hugged her. "I'm so glad to see you! I really don't understand why you refused to stay with us!"

"All of that later. First, come with me" she said, taking Zoya's hand and leading her outside.

"Zeenat!" Dilshad called from the kitchen and made her way towards them. "Where are you going? Please come inside!"

"I will, Dilshad Bi. But first I need to show Zoya something. Please come with us!" she said, motioning Dilshad to follow them and moved to cover Zoya's eyes.

"Aapi? What are you doing?" Zoya asked, surprised.

"Shh. Just start walking" she said, pushing her forward.

"Holy mother of God, Aapi! This is f**king amazing!" Zoya screamed at the top of her voice when her Aapi had finally released her, allowing her to see what was waiting for her outside. In front of her stood a magnificent and sparkling new Range Rover, with a huge bow and a humongous card sitting on its bonnet, which read 'Happy Birthday, Zoya!'.

"Aapi, I LOVE YOU!!!!" she screamed and hugged her sister, jumping around in circles as she chanted it repeatedly. Zeenat just laughed and hugged her back.

"This is a gift to you from your Jiju and I, because we won't be here for your birthday, next week. He figured you must be having problems moving around here, since you're so used to cars, so he decided to buy you one, here. I hope you like it." she said, which earned her another round of hugs from her over-excited younger sister.

"Like it? I LOVE it! This can totally kick some serious ass! What would I do without you guys?" Zoya exclaimed, while Dilshad looked on happily. All this just made her realize just how loved and pampered Zoya was. Even though Zeenat wasn't her real sister, she still treated Zoya like her very own. Zoya was blessed to have such wonderful people in her life.

To say that Asad was shocked to find a brand new car, a screaming Zoya and two laughing ladies on his front door, would be an understatement. He had just come back to look for an important file when he saw the commotion. He was beyond stunned. Firstly, because Zoya's birthday was next week and he didn't even know it. Secondly, because who in the world buys their sister such a huge car for her birthday? And he grudgingly had to agree with Zoya this time. That car could seriously kick some ass, he thought and then immediately rebuked himself for using such language.

"Mr. Khan!" Zoya squealed and ran towards him as she suddenly spotted his car near the main gate. She opened the door and dragged him outside. "Look what Aapi got me!" she said, jumping like a little girl who'd just received her favourite candy.

"Nice car, Miss Farooqui" Asad told her, causing her to beam at him.

"What are we waiting for, people?" Zoya exclaimed and snatched the keys from her sister. "Let's rock 'n' roll! Come on, Aapi! Phupi, come!"

"Whoa, hold on" interrupted Asad as Zoya began to drag his mother to her car. There was no way he was leaving her mother alone when Zoya was the one driving. "She's not going with you".

"What? Why?"

"I love my Ammi very much, thank you. I want her to be safe and sound. You can drive around as much as you want to, but Ammi's not going with you".

"Phupi! Say something!"

"Asad, please" Dilshad said, not wanting to upset both Zoya and Zeenat. She could see the way Zeenat's eyes hardened at Asad's behaviour towards Zoya. The last thing she wanted was for Zeenat to feel that her sister wasn't happy, here. "It's just one ride".

"No, Ammi. You're not going. Besides, I have some clients coming over today, for lunch. I need you to be there with me as I sign that Singhania deal".

"But, Mr. Khan-"

"It's okay, Zoya" cut in Zeenat, not liking the way Asad had simply dismissed her little sister. "We'll go. It will just be our 'girl time', just like the old days, remember? When we used to spend our whole day simply driving around NY and enjoying ourselves. Would you like that?"

"Of course I would, Aapi! Let's go!"

"Asad, you should not have spoken to Zoya like that, especially in front of her sister" DIlshad told him, once Zoya had left.

"Ammi, they're spoiling her!" he exclaimed, setting his bag down on the sofa and turning to face his mother. "What was the need to buy her a car, and that too such an expensive one, just because it's her birthday next week? It's not like she's going to live here forever! They spend too much money on her!"

"Asad! Zoya is a part of their family and they can do whatever they want to, for her birthday. You should not be judging them!"

"Can't you see, Ammi? She's going to have a bad effect on Najma! Miss Farooqui does not know how to conduct herself and her family never even bothers to correct her! She uses offensive language, swears in public, talks at the top of her voice, walks around as if she owns the world, picks up fights with random strangers- and what not! We cannot have her degrading our image in the society, just because she's our guest!"

"And your behavior wasn't out of line? You don't think twice before insulting her in front of a whole bunch of people, you shrug her off and ignore her as if she doesn't even exist, you hardly let her finish before you start shouting at her- is that what you call 'gentlemanly behavior', Asad? If she's wrong, then so are you! You should first change yourself before you expect others to change for you!" with that, his mother walked off, making him realize how big of a jerk he actually was.

So, how was it??? Did u guys like it??? DO tell me as i love to read your comments! I'm sorry I wasn't able to post this chapter yesterday, as i got caught up in some stupid college work and i'm still not done with it. So i'll try to post the next chapter by tomorrow or day after. In case i'm not able to do so, please don't mind the delay!

Jootas, chappals, tomatoes... humein sab qubool hai! don't forget to review! 😉
