Today's episode was definitely better than I expected it to be. The week has started on a very interesting and dare I say it positive note. I did have some issues with certain character interactions (read: Asad and Tanveer) but I will get into that further down in my post.
Lets look at the way things are shaping up in Ajmer - Asad and Zoya are victims of miscommunication and misinformation. Can somebody scream at that reception lady for me? đ Sangeeta (bheegi) was spot on with her prediction about the reception lady letting Asad know that Zoya was looking for him. That was a good, logical touch to the scene. I am very grateful that Asad is under no illusion as to who was searching for him. He knows Zoya wanted to see him for something and he needs to hold on to that.
Zoya herself was slowly inching back to her old self. Despite her Keanu stunt and the hotel staff certain that she was mistaken Zoe will eventually connect the dots.
Now, coming to the part that annoyed me slightly - the Asad-Tanveer interaction. Why the heck are they back to Jammy and Tannu? While I don't expect Asad to be angry with her I also don't expect him to be as friendly as he once was. But I guess, he was a little too disoriented and shocked by her appearance. Again, I am supremely thankful that the pregnancy card was not played. Tanveer is playing a dangerous game and she has lost focus. This will loss in focus will completely destroy her.
A lot of you may be surprised to hear this but the favourite part for me in today's episode was Ayaan and Humeira's interactions. Gul has set her second OTP right up to the sexy, romantic music in the background. The stand out scene was Humeira describing Vikram's feelings - they defined Ayaan right down to the little dot over the little "i". Ayaan today reaffirmed his promise to not hurt her ever again. The slight jealously and the protectiveness he feels for her are a good start and foundation for AyRa. I would think that today's episode puts the ZoYaan theory to rest.
All in all a good start to the week. Tomorrow should be interesting - confrontation plus murder attempt number 8. Also, we are definitely missing a 360 degree scene between AsYa. I am trying to keep my expectations low but I think things are definitely looking up.
