every human being has a right to redeem themselves. I am not saying Zoya should forgive him...but he can redeem himself over time, realize his mistakes and maybe punish Razia and himself for all his wrongdoings

Nice post, Bheegi!

It seems to me that Ghafoor's relationship with Zoya is getting ever more acrimonious. I really don't see him accepting Zoya easily, because of which I expect Zoya will bend over backwards to accommodate him once she finds out that he is her father. But I'm pretty sure that Ghaffoor will continue to reject her.
The Humeira twist is very interesting, because it seems that Gul has got the 'overtly religious' bit firmly between her teeth. She clearly isn't going to be satisfied with Tanveer's pseudo-'Tehzeeb afta-ness', because once Tanveer is exposed, her mission can no longer be driven onwards, so I wonder if she is going to use the Humeira's Hindu version to fly the flag for either religious tolerance in the serial, or to showcase Zoya's degree of religious practice as superior and very much more acceptable.

I am looking forward to father-daughter tracks..
I think Humeira has amnesia after the accident. Her identity has switched with that lady who took her ring. Will Ayaan fall in love with this avatar?
Ghafoor is a hypocrite...he can sleep with another modern woman but cannot accept her in front of soceity. We saw this at the orphanage too. To the society, he is a giver but the way he reprimanded the orphan shows his real character. Two faced man!!!

Yeah I think it's an identity switch scenario too. I think this new personality of Humeira's is probably to drive home to Ayaan that jeans don't make women modern. He needs to see that Humeira can be feisty, loyal, fun and brave. Right now he sort of takes her for granted and doesn't recognize the different facets of her personality but maybe seeing her as a carefree young girl will change that?

Gaffur is the worst kind of hypocrite and he will pay heavily for the choices he has made. The only reason Asad will succeed in winning back Zoya is because he is in fact not guilty. But Gaffur is. So, I am definitely interested to see those dynamics. I am sure Gaffur will want to know his daughter but will she? He is going to have to work very hard to explain why she was left in an orphanage and of course answer questions about his affair with her mother and his treatment of Dilshaad, Asad and Najma.

we will have to wait and see how it plays out. Maybe Ayaan found her somewhere...just like Asad might find Zoya at the orphanage. Nevertheless, it looks like an interesting track

I actually think it will be the other way round - with Gaffur trying very hard to know his daughter and Zoya not being as accepting.

Though it could also work the way you have said it.

Yeah, if you remember the symbolism in the scene where Ghafoor and Zoya cross paths outside the dargah? That's how their relationship might play out. In the end, we saw Zoya just walk away and go to Asad's house.

Yeah, this might be Gul's message towards religious tolerance...I am actually looking forward to this track. Anything to get away from Billi😆

Would it be bad of me to say that I don't want any redemption for Gaffur with Zoya? He left his own child knowingly in an orphanage all because he loves his wife so much. I just don't like the man. And if it ever came down to her having to choose between Asad and Gaffur...no doubt in my mind Gaffur will definitely lose.
