So at first when Ghaffoor is outed as Zoya's father, I expect that Zoya, who earlier admitted to yearning for her father's affection, will try her best to be accepted by him. And this may involve not listening to her well-wishers (Asad, Dilshad) while trying to win over Ghaffoor. I expect this phase to last until a further revelation about Ghaffoor (either his relationship with Zoya's mother, or his hand in her death) comes to light, at which point Zoya's yearning for belonging will vanish and she will hate Ghaffoor. Then will start Ghaffoor's efforts to seek forgiveness from Zoya and to right his wrongs. Eventually, this could lead to a reconciliation between father and daughter through a grand gesture of self-sacrifice. Or Ghaffoor may become a worse villain and be completely beyond redemption.

There was an interesting line said by Zoya in Thu's epi about Allah being the one to punish or to pardon, and not mere humans. So I am expecting some 'dard' on both sides.

I agree Tvbug...initially Zoya will try to appease her dad and later the tables will turn around. We saw that in the scene outside the dargah too. Plus they need to bring friction between Asya after marriage...although I feel Asad will support Zoya this time

Humeira in hindu avtar is definitly interestig! Looking forward to how they go with it! I jus hope its not a double role and not humz turning negative. Everything else im open to! And gaffur redemption.. I think its very possible but not in amytime soon. I think before redemption we will see him trying to change zoya when he finds out she is hisdaughter. And then later on wayyy later on we may see him slowly change and accept her.

But yh def curious about humeira!

Gaffur is a man who had a relationship with a girl from NYC, got her pregnant and then fell into the clutches of his family and didn't return to marry her! He didn't have the guts to defy his family for his love, so he probably married Razia? Totally unrelated question, but I wonder if Razia was fat even then? Lol. So right from that point he has proved himself gutless! Nothing disgusts me more than men who make promises to women and then come in front of their family and totally lose their spine! Such men are not men! They are losers, like Imraan!

So... when his ex came to India looking for him with their child, his wife kills her, and he helps her cover it up! Besides giving Zoya that music box, what has he EVER done for her?? He asked Razia what happened to the child and she said she was given to an orphanage! So in MY opinion Gaffur is NO father to Zoya and deserves nothing but hatred and disgust from her!

He is a bad person. The day he came and insulted Dilshaad in her own home, and the way he spoke to Asad was enough to make me hate him for good! He is someone who helped a killer get away and orphaned a child! (Who was half his btw). He also played Rashid. So to me he is beyond redemption!!

I would like to see him try!

Apologies if I got this wrong but wasn't he implicit in the murder in the factory in which he and Razia happily framed Rashid for a crime he did not commit and made him pay by distancing him from his own children. But wasnt the dead woman Zoya's mother? Did Gaffoor know? If so isn't he as bad as Razia? Apologies if I got anything wrong I am a newbie to QH. Still have much to learn☺️

I don't think he can be redeemed in Zoya's or the audience's eyes. As a person, he will try to redeem himself of all the sins he has committed- I think every person should be given that chance but in his case, I agree- it will be too late, too little

well said, sangi...and that is the basic concept of Qubool hai... she wants the blast those rigid walls in the society not only in islam but in all religion that exist in the world...

Thanks Deepa...yes, that's the whole concept of this show. Not only be open minded about religion, but about different personalities, different ways of thinking. I wish people on this forum would also learn some of these lessons😉 Not everyone is same...

Personally, I would never want Zoya to forgive him.. but something that Zoya said "We are nobody to forgive anyone..its in the hands of allah", tells me that she might decide to forgive him later on..

Thanks Nishita. I am looking forward to seeing how Ghafoor and his relationship with his daughters turns out...this would be a highlight of this show for me😊
In the end, if his daughters disown him, that would be the best punishment for him

I feel he failed Zoya in their meet as strangers at orphanage. They way he insulted an orphan boy and carried the anger towards his savior. He might crave for his daughter, but he left her there as one and now vocal about his feelings for them(orphans). Helping with money just makes him more guilty now and redemption moves father..
Now sure why Humaria turned as hindu, is there a story behind it or just added as you said to break stereotyping?
Gaffur's track is still far, and I am sure by that time he would have completely alienated his both girls to accept him easily...

I think the PH is laying the foundation for the Ghafoor-daughter track. Hope when Billo track ends, this one will start in full swing. Can't wait to see his reaction to his "Hindu" daughter😊
