I do agree we should let the CVs do their job... But why are they wearing borrowed feathers or wearing a dumb hat when they writing out a scenario. They need today's audience is not an audience from the past where anything goes. They should also move on with the times and bring in more realistic scenes that we can connect.
QH is my first Indian serial and I continued watching it because I felt it was different. Yes, I do know its an Indian serial, so I do give in to some of the typical filmy scenarios like Asad running to the airport to stop Zoya from leaving. Honestly, I didn't find it romantic...I found it silly...but ok its a serial and I could swallow that. It was the only serial that I saw that related somewhat to the real world.
I started watching QH because it was serial that spoke of relationships and initially it was that... I was glad that they did not rush Asad and Zoya into a relationship, but they showed the love grow slowly.
Is it that the moment Asad realized he loved Zoya and Zoya realizing that she loves Asad is enough... Gosh no, in the real world, the toughest stage in a relationship is now with introducing any other twists and turns...
But now its getting so unrealistic and cheap... moving from bad to worse...
Asad's character was a beautiful character and so different from the standard Indian men portrayed. Indian men are typically considered mama's boys with not much of a backbone(no offense meant to any men or boys in the forum) and most of the time men are portrayed as loving their family so much and they are willing to sacrifice their values in the name of "family values"... But Asad was shown differently... he stood up for what is right even though it hurt his mother...so well portrayed the pain and the anguish... But the same character is made weak, right from the time Zoya almost got electrocuted... DUH??!!?? He does not need to declare his feelings...Its ok.. that does not make him weak... But he is considered a shrewd business... now where did that disappear???
I, for one, applaud them for not moving on with the nikaah...but can we not have twists and drama which are original... Like Tanveer sleeping with Asad on his wedding is creative and original??? This is an age old twist. Where is the originality that QH CVs claims they are doing???
All of us had just completed honoring our fathers on Father's day and then we switch on the TV to our "Favorite serial" to watch what... A daughter throwing a mother who is supposedly unwell out of the house??? (Humeira and Razia). That was so distasteful...
Now this is my point of view... Sorry its long post... just venting out my frustration...
