Farrhana Bhatt opens up on post show bond with Amaal Mallik, confirms collaboration

Bigg Boss 19 first runner up Farrhana Bhatt has confirmed that she is collaborating with singer and composer Amaal Mallik after the reality show ended. In a recent interaction, Farrhana spoke about how their relationship changed after several conflicts inside the house.

Farrhana and Amaal had a turbulent equation on Bigg Boss 19, marked by frequent arguments and emotional moments. One incident, where Amaal threw Farrhana’s food plate, had sparked strong reactions online. However, after the show wrapped, the two appear to have moved past those moments and built a friendship.

Speaking to Film Window, Farrhana addressed her bond with Amaal and revealed plans to work together. She said, “We are planning some work together. Some project is there. Amaal ke saath ek alag bonding ban gayi hai. Mumma ki bhi, meri bhi. And ek aisi dosti bani hai jo kaafi saari cheezon se guzar ke abhi ek achhi cheez ban rahi hai.”

She was also asked if the collaboration would involve a music video or singing. Farrhana explained that her experience on the show helped her discover a new interest. “I actually discovered that I can sing during Bigg Boss 19. When Amaal initially told me that I sing really well, I thought he was lying,” she said.

She added that appreciation from Amaal’s brother Armaan and Kunickaa encouraged her further. “After I came out of the show, people really liked my singing. I don’t think I’m a good singer yet. Maybe my voice is slightly good. But there are so many nuances in singing that don’t come naturally,” Farrhana stated.

Clarifying the nature of the upcoming project, she said the collaboration will not involve singing. “If I get the time, I’d like to focus a bit more on improving my singing. However, the upcoming collaboration between Amaal and me won’t be for singing. It will be something else.”

In the same interview, Farrhana revealed that she was offered a music video with Baseer Ali, but scheduling conflicts prevented it. She added that she would like to work with him in the future.

Bigg Boss 19 ended earlier this month, with Farrhana Bhatt finishing first runner up overall season.
