Haha good point about the backless blouse. And your faith in Gul is hilarious haha this is entertaining.

Just disappointed with how it was shown that's all, and I think I have a right to my opinion, just as you do too. I'm not generalizing anything, merely stating mine and my mom's reactions.

dear, iam not saying that u r generalizing ,iam talking about another post where some ppl generalized,u have voiced your opinions very well and kal ke episode ke baad yeh pehla post jisme main skirt wali cheez pe comments de rahi hoo kyunki u r accepting the fact that everybody has choices while some r imposing their views on others.and btw ,i and many others love this show and now u have seen many mommies didnt mind the scene while some did.😊s

My mom who never went abroad loved the scene she even went to say that Zoya is such a pretty and talented girl who hails from New York then why the hell she is taking Asad's crap she should move on, there are thousands of liberal boys who would love to have such a girl in their lives. P.S. - My mumma further added if someone behaved with her or me(her daughter) in such a bad manner, she wouldn't have thought twice before showing them their place :/

Asad treating Zoya like crap is not an isolated incident related to this skirt scene, he's been doing that from the beginning. I am also glad that Zoya stood up for herself. I'm just saying that I was personally disappointed with the scene because my image of Zoya was not the one that was portrayed on screen, and so it's now been destroyed.

my mom who is not very modern was absolutely fine with the scene! infact she was laughing and enjoying the hilarious moment! i showed ur post to another of my friend who watches QH and even her mom who is very traditional had no problems with either the length of the skirt or anything in that scene! ZOya is both my mom's and my BFF's mom's favorite character and when i showed them ur post all they had to say was and i quote "I didn't find anything inappropriate in the scene, the scene was funny and all I care is that I enjoyed watching the scene. i did not feel like they have butchered the character"

my dad who although is not a muslim yet he most of the time follows this religion also had no issues with the skirt! he really liked the confrontation scene and said "and finally she spoke for herself instead of remaining mute that's the Zoya who is admired by all"

i'm not gonna disagree with you because everyone has a different pov and every1 is entitled to share their two cents! some liked the scene others didn't! its a very moot point and no amount of discussion is gonna tell us whether the scene was good or bad, ethical or unethical!

and like i always say Zoya is a matured woman she wants to wear a skirt she'll wear it she wants to wear a damn bikini she'll wear it!

Everyone Has the right to share his point of view
For me i Will not change it i Said and i say now That zoya wearing miniskirt was out of caracter
I enjoyed the scene love it and felt proud of zoya when she confront asad and stood up for herself and i repeat the scene Many time
But still yes zoya wearing miniskirt was out of caracter
Because from the begining i made an image of zoya
And when she Said That she wore those types of clothes everytime in newyork, i get shocked
And i Said to myself is really this girl is zoya ? Not because i am close-minded
I dont care but this is not zoya it doesnt suit her( not becoz she is muslim girl i speak in general if she was not a muslim girl my pov Will be the same)
But because i love asya and qubool hai i just digest it

So I guess whether or not our mothers are modern doesn't really affect their mindset after all, everyone simply just have their own opinions (: And yes so you're right, some people have issues with the scene and some don't, just like you and your parents. But I was just expressing my disappointment really, at the fact that the Zoya I had perceived in my mind was destroyed by the scene. But that's just me I guess (:

I'm not here to discuss whether it was good/bad or ethical/unethical, I'm no moral police. Simply sharing my opinion, to find out whether there are others who think like me as well! But thanks for sharing how you and people around you felt about it as well (:

Oh this is such a perfect response haha it perfectly summarizes all that I'm feeling as well! Miniskirt - out of character. But standing up for herself - beautiful. Image of Zoya - destroyed. Not close-minded - just don't buy it as part of Zoya's character. Gonna swallow it anyway - because I love this show (: Absolutely spot on!! (:

I do too, I think Surbhi looked hot. But that's not the point haha because it still has nothing to do with her character Zoya, which is what I'm discussing in this post (:
