Final Part: You cannot fight Destiny

It was time for revelation. Gayatri had begun collecting evidence from Day I and decided that the time was right to reveal it all.

Gayatri to all: Asad, from the start, Zoya tried to tell you about Tanveer. You chose not to believe her. You are right in a way as Tanveer is your childhood friend but you will have to start trusting Zoya else the nikah is doomed.

Asad was stunned. Tanveer was shocked. Tanveer ran to Asad and tried to convince him but Asad moved away from her.

Gayatri continued:

a) a) Asad, Tanveer's factory is not burnt and here is the proof: Gayatri produced photographs of the factory with the staff. In the manager's cabin, Tanveer photo was up. In addition, Gayatri also had recorded Tanveer's staff praising her work owing to which the number of orders increased. In addition, Gayatri produced bank and credit card statements. There was no partner involved.

b) b) Tanveer is not married. I checked with the high court and the mosques in and around. No registration or record of her marriage. According to gossip, Tanveer was involved with someone called Imran and planned to get married. But Imran called it off. Asad was speechless. Could it be same Imran?

c) c) Tanveer is pregnant. This news was confirmed by the doctor also. I followed Tanveer to the hospital and over heard her conversation with the doctor. I also spoke to the doctor. Here is the recording (if you choose not to believe me). In addition, Damian is a doctor and he will reaffirm that Tanveer is pregnant.

d) d) Tanveer tried to kill Zoya not once but thrice. The first at the sangeet, second at mehendi and third after the mehendi. Zoya was scared but she bore the pain and fought as she wanted to protect you. Her love for you was stronger that her fear.

Gayatri pleadingly told Asad: Asad, please think of all those times Tanveer has disrupted the activities in the house and interrupted your moments with Zoya. She has a purpose and I am still not sure on the reason. But she wants Zoya out of your life. Asad, please believe us. If you still do not believe me, Tanveer has bracelet on her. It is bug and would have recorded all her conversations. Gayatri went up to Tanveer and pulled the bracelet off her.

In all her life Zoya had never watched Gayatri plead. People pleaded with her. Zoya could not take it. She wanted to call off the Nikah. She did not want to be married to a man who chose not to believe her and her family.

Zoya spoke: Gee, please do not beg an emotionally challenged man. Mr. Khan prefers his head over his heart. If he still believes that Tanveer is innocent, so be it. I love him BUT'..Having said, Zoya ran out.

Asad was dumbfounded at the turn of events. Zoya loved him. Tanveer smiled but was wiped out as Gayatri walked up and gave her a tight slap. Tanveer looked at Asad for help but he was staring at the door.

Few hours later:

There was still no news of Zoya. She had not returned. Appi and Dilshad were worried. Gayatri and Damian decided to search for her. Asad stopped them. Zoya was his soon to be wife and was his responsibility so he would look for her.

Just as Asad stepped out, he turned back and told Gayatri: Thank You. If I had to choose between Tanveer and Zoya, I would choose Zoya. She is my life and my love. I cannot live a day without her.

Gayatri laughed and said: Asad Miya, yeh aap Zoya ko sunna dijiye.

Asad frantically looked for her at all her hot spots. He could not find her. Now he was concerned. How would he face aapi and ammi? Where could she have gone? Just then a thought crossed his mind. Asad accelerated and drove like a mad man.

Asad reached the dargah. The evening prayers were about to start. He ran to the main entrance and began his search. This is the same dargah where he had first seen Zoya, crying and praying. His heart had wept with her. Oh! God, what had he done? (The enormity of his actions just hit him).

He looked and looked but could not find her. Then he felt a familiar presence. He turned to a spot hidden from the main view and saw a women crying and praying. It was Zoya. He walked up to her. She looked up and thought she was imagining him.

Z-A: Mr. Khan, I am here to be with Allah. Please step away and leave me alone. You have ruined my life; please do not ruin my dreams.

Asad was hurt yet he smiled. She thought he was her dream.

Z-A: Mr. Khan, why do you smile in my dream and not in reality? You know, Gayatri has never begged anyone yet she did for me. I just do not get you and your obsession with tehzeeb. Allah Miyan, Mr. Khan, leave now.

Asad sat next to her and said Zoya. Zoya was dumbstruck. Do imaginary figures talk? Perhaps they do. Asad placed his hand on hers and repeated Zoya. Zoya thought she was going mad. Why did the imagination feel so real? Asad smiled and pinched her. Zoya winced in pain. Then it hit her that Mr.Khan had followed and found her. Why was here?

A-Z: Zoya, I have wished to share my feelings with you for long. You know that you and I are different (Zoya thought here he goes again) but we are not that different also. Zoya, please allow me to finish before you run away. I should have trusted you about Tanveer but for long I have convinced myself that you were all wrong for me. In reality, you are the only one who is right for me. You read me like a book, you understand me like a companion should, you lessen my pain, you bring out the worst and best in me AND MOST IMPORTANT

YOU COMPLETE ME, ZOYA. YES, THIS MARRIAGE STARTED AS A LIE. WITH TIME, THIS MARRIAGE IS MY TRUTH AS YOU ARE MY LIFE. I WILL NOT LET ANY-ONE BETWEEN US. ZOYA FARROUKHI, I LOVE YOU LIKE I HAVE NEVER LOVED ANYONE. PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU DO TOO?

Zoya had tears in her eyes: MR. KHAN, I LOVE YOU WITH MY LIFE. I PROMISE YOU THAT I WILL BE WITH YOU FOREVER. I WILL NOT LET YOUR PAST OR MINE AFFECT OUR PRESENT. I HAVE, WILL AND ALWAYS LOVE YOU. YOU ARE MY AKUDU KHAN.

Just then the prayers were announced. Zoya and Asad prayed together, took blessings from the shrine and promised that they would be forever.

Zoya and Asad united in mind and soul in the same dargah. Destiny had brought them together and Destiny with help from Gayatri would keep them together. They were meant to be. The I am Jealous Khan had become I am in love Khan:)

Zoya Farroukhi and Asad Ahmed Khan looked forward to their new life.

(Hope you enjoyed it. I thought of writing about their nikah but I have written it in an earlier FF. Let me know on your thoughts)

Wow..it's awesome...loved the ending. So glad gyatri revealed Tanveer...so happy..wish something like this would happen in the show.

Honestly I've told it a couple of times that I enjoy and love the jealous Asad but this one is definitely my favorite one ... :)
