So..as usual..the whole forum is anti-Asad today..so I decided to speak for Asad...I can speak for Zoya too but I don't need to because most of you are already speaking for her...Someone has to talk about Asad's side right..?

So here's my take:
I feel that Asad didn't forget about Zoya's fear of fire--and he knows that the root of Zoya's fear of fire is her nightmare. He doesn't have any memory problem...He just knows that Zoya has nightmares about fire and thats about it. When Zoya was telling Asad about her nightmares, Asad asked her if she has actually ever been in that situation and Zoya said that she doesn't know!
So what I am thinking is..Asad was probably asking for Zoya's help when Tanu was burning not because he forgot that Zoya is scared of fire but because he saw a person in a life threatening situation...because saving someone's life can't be bigger than a nightmare. He shouted "Zoya" yesterday because be remembered Zoya's phobia and he wanted her to snap out of it and help him with Tanu.

But now when Appi will tell Asad that Zoya has actually been in fire, that's when Asad is gonna connect the dots. It's gonna change the whole mindset of Asad about Tanveer incident.

How can Asad forgot about Zoya's fear when he remembers each and everything about her..their first meeting, what she was wearing; her favorite cricketer, her favorite food etc..so if Asad can remember all these things about Zoya what makes you think that Asad forgot about Zoya's biggest fear?

Just the circumstances aren't favoring AsYa..they are always brought in a situation where somehow they end up unintentionally hurting each other or misunderstanding each other.

Not justifying Asad's behavior--and I agree that he needs to learn to hear Zoya out as well..but haven't you noticed a change in Asad..I mean the way he was confronting Zoya was different..he wasn't yelling at her, he wasn't hollering at her, he calmly made his point..I know that Asad has a long way to go but he is definitely not where he used to be..he is changing..give him sometime..if Zoya can be patient with him then why can't we?

Love is about accepting the one you love--along with their flaws--and Zoya has accepted Asad the way that he is..Asad is changing..he admitted himself that Zoya has changed him...so please don't always jump the gun at Asad..he will never be perfect but he loves Zoya with all his heart..and his life for Zoya is perfected everyday..it's a journey for him...and he's learning and growing everyday...

I know that Asad says a lot of hurtful things..but the moment he realizes, he also apologies..I know that he can't keep doing this..misunderstanding and then apologizing jazz...but see, Zoya forgives him always because she understands Asad..she knows that Asad has a pure heart..she knows that Asad is black and bitter..Zoya knows that he's complicated and yes he is a very complicated man..Zoya calls his Akdu...and he is super Akdu but Zoya is in love with this Akdu..and she's wants to spend the rest of her life with this black, bigger, akdu, gorilla, vampire Ahmed Khan and that's all that matters!

We all make mistakes..but repentance is the key---and its big in AsYa's relationship!

I said the exact same thing in some of the other posts. While Asad's behavior is not completely justified, I don't think he understands the depth of the fire coz she never mentioned the rationale only that it was there. I also noticed that he stared at her when he shouted her name for the shawl as if to jolt her out of her fear. Also, when they did have that conversation, the focus on her being alone or not having/knowing her parents. The parental factor was the key point of that conversation. The fire aspect was a very small aspect. Great post! Glad to see someone sees it the same way I did. All said and done, Asad is changing just wish he didn't keep going 2 steps backward whenever he takes or is about to take one step forward. Anyways, hopefully sometime in the future, a time will come when he will have complete trust in her. I'm hoping it comes before any possibility of an Ayaan-Zoya track happening.

I am sooo looking forward to tomorrow's episode..Asad had tears in his eyes when he was listening to Aapi..I wonder what all did she tell him..Maybe she told him something that even Zoya doesn't know...because remember Zoya said that she doesn't know if she was actually in fire but Aapi is telling Asad that Zoya saw it happening..(Zoya was too young to remember I guess)

One thing i should thank u for it That i was thinking That he forgot her fear of fire but u clarifie and u are right about it That he didnt forget he know That she has phobia of fire and just want her to snap out of it and help him
And u are right but now he Will know why she Has phobia of fire not just Like That but because she saw her MOTHER died in a fire and now the case is not the same
Yes he is wrong but at least this Mu give him chance to know more about zoya s dark past
And as i say in one previous post That asad of yesterday is not asad of today and ofcourse not of tomorrow
He still misunderstand zoya hurt her but not the in the same level, he is changing aloot and while he was trying to tell her to stay away from tannu but he didnt mean it look at his face who speak volume That he is not confinced of his speach and he know That something is wrong,
People and we all say all the Time he yell at her scold her than say sorry no mrs khan sorry is not enough how could you ...? But we forget That zoya understand him more yes he hurt her but he makes her the hapiest girl in th world when he appologie to her care about her protect her, she know he is akdu aak emotionnaly chalenged but she loves him the way he is if she woudnt mind so why we? Not forget she loves him the way he is but still he is changing for her , so what w want more

Thank you for a wonderful reply!!! LOVED what you wrote!!! Sooo True..Zoya fell in love with him when he wasn't even changing--and Asad changed for Zoya when he knows that Zoya liked him even when he was his old self..he knows he needs to change and he's working on it!

P.S. you are so write..the positive way to look at the whole situation..now Asad knows about Zoya's past!! That's a good thing + Asad is gonna have more understanding of the situation once Gudia Factory Saazish track resumes!
