I totally see your point of view as well..makes sense..But, like I said..Asad hasn't reached there yet..He is learning to love..but he loves Zoya with all that he knows about love..And once Asad learns to love, his love will have no bounds and I am very sure about that!!! Asad has fallen in love and just recently admitted it--and now comes another phase when he's gonna learn the dimensions of love..he already cares for her but there's more to love than just care..big one is trust..and I am sure with time Asad will figure that out too..

SO glad you are defending him...usually I do too...but he broke my heart today.

I have a theory on why Asad played the blame game on Zoya again. When Tanveer ran towards them, it took Asad a while to register what was going on. He didn't run towards her right away as his mind and heart were focused on Zoya and his confession speech. I think he feels guilty that he couldn't prevent this accident because he had been selfish enough to leave the party so he could talk to Zoya. Minutes ago, he had promised Tanveer that he wanted her to be under his supervision 24/7. He had faltered as a friend and that's why the guilt was manifold than it should have been.

its not imposiable that Asad forgot Zoya's fear of fire. she had a couple of nightmares, and one of those ocassions zoya had had the nightmare after seeing the campfire in the yard. what ever happened at that time was so minor that the gravity of it did not register in Asad mind. when he asked her about it, she was very wage with the iformation, cause she herself didnt remember the childhood experience.

Asad broke your heart :( well he broke the hearts of many people today including mine but then I decided to think for Asad's side..what could be going in his mind..why he did what he did..so I wrote down what I figured out about his actions! He broke our heart today..tmrw all of us will Awww at him..that's what always happens..one day everyone hates Asad..the next day we all go crazy for him..and that's exactly what happens with Zoya..he hurts her but the next minute he makes her feel special and brings a smile on her face..His love overcomes his shortcomings..

Huhhh that's another way to look at it..interesting..this never crossed my mind..thanks for sharing..But you see, if it was the old Asad (Asad before admitting his love for Zoya) then what you wrote would have been totally right on..because the old Asad blamed Zoya for everything..because deep down he was just mad at her for making him feel the way that she did..he hated the affect and control that she had on him..actually he was more mad at himself than Zoya so whenever something wrong would happen..he would blame Zoya...BUT now that he has finally accepted and admitted his love for Zoya, I don't see the same blame game happening..not intentionally at least..but who knows..you could be right but I just feel that Asad wouldn't blame Zoya because of his own shortcoming as friend!
