I totally agree with your valid points. If the Cvs are portraying Asad's character and thinking always with Tehzeeb and Tameez, the body language of the character should be maintained too. They did this for a long time, suddenly seeing lot of short comings in Asad's behavior. So please dialogue writers or script writers and CVs work out as a team when you come up with a scene which involves these type of scenarios.

You are completely right ...Zoya deserves better at this point...I am tired of Asad's bullshit...he constantly looks down at her and I think if they told him she committed a murder he would believe it without questioning.

Careful!

Mr.Khan phangurlz would have you believe he would do so because in truth he is running from himself and his feelings, grasping at any excuse to deny his love for M.sFarouqui.

Nuh Uh.

He is simply not a person of integrity or good character.

I do wonder how come 4 Lions' two consecutive shows can have such d*bag male leads?
We were promised something really appealing in terms of the male lead, and while eye-candy will take the show so far, its the depth of the character that really counts in the long run.

Somehow the leads seem to take U-Turn within 4 months of the show airing, in terms of admirable character!
And dark and brooding *cough* Ms. Gul Khan *cough* does not mean a**hole and a d*bag.
Please don't believe the trashy M&B novels. Those sell by the penny for a pound coz there really are no takers with real women.

Man, we got sold a bill of goods!

But as can be seen from TRPs, they are high and the show is leading because of all the lovey-dovey, song-and-dance routines in the preceding weeks.
How much patience is left for this story that, frankly, has not moved an inch from the point of announcing engagement to the immigration officer?
The society-recognized engagement itself has yet to take place.😕
There really is no story any more.

honestly, I have never liked Asad's character...he is judgmental, extremely prejudicial, regressive in thoughts and hypocritical...I simply cannot tolerate such qualities In a man but above all I was shocked when he slapped her...that was when I completely started despising the character...but saying that I did start giving him the benefit of doubt and stated accepting him in Zoya's life because he showed signs of empathy. But, his recent interactions with Billo is probing me to think differently once again...Asad is being downright unethical here with his so called friendship...I am sorry, I grew up having very close friend who are boys since kindergarten ...some of whom are still my best friends but in no way do I hold their hands or hug them as Asad and Billo does...it's absolutely unethical and is an insult to our respectively partners.

I cannot completely fathom the fact that Asad allows Billo to touch him whenever she wants even if holding hands knowing very well how Zoya feels about it...he should be more thoughtful about the whole situation because this is a sensitive issue that his own mother has gone through. How can he even joke with Zoya on the basis of jealousy? It really doesn't matter whether we are from the western world or from the eastern...something unethical as this is wrong everywhere.

Friendship is a wonderful relationship but there has to be boundaries maintained and respected in it too. When that very friendship knowingly or unknowingly hurts your existing partners it's very important that the individual realizes it and doesn't cross their limits.

For the last couple of episodes Asad's behavior towards Billo is not that of friendship anymore IMO...to me Asad is at his hypocritical best and their relationship seems downright unethical.

I am sorry...if things doesn't change for the good...I don't think I will be able to support and rejoice in Asya's nikaah as a woman or as a viewer. I believe it's time for Asad to realize Zoya's worth and acknowledge her importance as her as his first priority or I would strongly want Zoya moving on with someone who really deserves her because at the end of the day Zoya deserves a better man than someone who walks away leaving her shattered and broken from a near death experience to his so called friend.

very well said 👏

and what do you mean that Asad enjoys tanveer touching him.
look at it this way, Asad has never even thought that Tanveer might fulfill his image of the ideal woman and life partner that he has always wanted. even though she fits the bill outwardly. for Asad Tanveer is like a sister. and as a man he is a bit chavinistic, he believes it his duty to protect the women in his life, be it Ammi, Najma, or Tanveer, and definitely Zoya.
Asad never even looks at tanveer, with awareness not like the way he sees Zoya.
people may concider it unhealthy friendship. but Asad does not know what realy going on in tanveer mind. she was hurt before, and she acted like someone had attacked her though she refused to say any thing about that incident. so he assumed that the jummer was ment to kill Tanveer and not Zoya.
but here i think it is the CV's fault of formating the chararacter thought procees they havent stuckt to the logic of the sceen. why would the jummer be ment ot kill tanveer, was Tanveer going to perform a solo dance number. so i feel that the CV's goofed up big time. letting Asad jump to the conclusion that the attack was ment for Tanveer and not Zoya.
and may the the CV's want to carry on this cloke and dagger game for a little while longer. i hope they dont plan to test our patients. i want Tanveer's track over.

I agree with your jhoomer point. Tan veer was never shown to be under the jhoomer whereas Zoya was under it the whole time. Does he think that tan veers killer is as dumb as him.
Asad never shows his love physically towards Nazma or ammi but is very free with tan veer. His tehzeeb yafta character is getting butchered here.

Hugging your friend is ok, but leaving the woman you supposedly love standing after a near death experience just to console your childhood friend is bullshit 😡 and on top of that stating that the attack was supposed to be for her is ridiculous
But I feel the fault also lies with Zoya...Asad has been insulting and hurting Zoya from the start , but she keeps accepting it...my question is WHY ?????
Becoz she is bitten by the love bug ???? Everything in life has a limit, but with Zoya there seems to be no limit at all...she answers him back allright, but that is all it is

Frankly I started despising Asad after the slap fiasco, coz that incident proved to me how hypocritical Asad can be...during that time so many ppl defended him, saying that he was not himself after seeing hi ammi in that condition, but what about all the times thereafter that he insulted and hurt Zoya ????
During that period Mariyam was supposed to be the danger to his family, he slapped Zoya thinking she invited danger to his family, but Mariyam was roaming freely with the family in the hospital...from that time only I saw the double standard mentalities in Asad's character and with the entry of Tanveer, it has become more certain than ever...
Still I wanted to give Asad another chance, thinking he will change for the better, he did change a bit, but the insults he's passing to Zoya have not changed one bit 😡
He keeps throwing in her face that they are opposites, keeps telling her what a misfit she is, always distrust her, always hurt her, only to come with some lame apology afterwards that doesn't make any sense at all...

I think it is about time that Zoya takes a stand and decides whether she is willing to accept this nonsense further or not...As long as she keeps accepting this behaviour of Asad, this guy will never change. He will never learn to appreciate Zoya for who she truly is...

If only Asad could give a little of the trust he showers on Tanveer to the woman he supposedly loves , maybe things would be different...
And with the latest moneky act of Tanveer and the Tanveer jaap by Asad, I think I am done with this show, at least for this week, coz after the MS fiasco of today, I am really fed 😡

Hi Pri

I understand a lot of people are angry with this Tanu-Jammy friendship track.

Yes, as a woman who is about to get married to a man, even I would be offended if an old friend acts so touchy feely with my fianc. It's a natural reaction even if there is no fire between the two friends.

We are talking about Asad Ahmed Khan though. This man has never dated a woman, never thought about another woman in romantic terms and has just recently realized that he has fallen for a woman who doesn't fit his image of the perfect woman. He is never been too sensitive towards Zoya's feelings. He either tries to ignore her feelings or just walks away because he gets too overwhelmed. He might be a very intelligent man, but lacks understanding of women. His mother and sister don't count because they just fed into his protective and chauvinistic tendencies during his early years. It's only now that Najma has become more comfortable with her brother. She is no longer terrified of him like used to be. Dilshaad has always had an open relationship with him but that's because out of respect, he does listen to her.

When he first started feeling attracted to Zoya, what did he do? He manhandled her. Is that how a man expresses his attraction for a woman? No. But with time he has learnt that Zoya doesn't appreciate that kind of treatment by him.He has stopped doing that now.

Tanveer has been like a family member or a sister for him. We know he has no romantic inclination towards her. When she initiates contact in the form of hand holding or hugging, he just goes with the flow as he doesn't see any malice on Tanveer's side and as far as he goes, he has no man-woman type of feelings for Tanveer. It's only lately, when he has seen Zoya get jealous, that he has become more self conscious.

This man needs to be taught everything. Somethings just don't come naturally to him. I am sure, when Zoya gives him the cold shoulder and gets upset about his undying faith in Tanveer, he will gradually back off.

Yes, he is being insensitive but I won't call him a hypocrite. He would be, if he was two timing or had such intentions about Tanveer. Ethical behavior is a relative term. If Asad did that willingly, he would be unethical, but he is just oblivious to the sensitivities of a woman's heart.

Zoya is there in his life to teach him many lessons- and one of them shall be 'how to be sensitive to a woman's needs.'

This man hasn't been able to confess yet! Imagine how clueless he is about women.

A week back.. I used to just read written updates because I was so sick of Asad's behaviour.. Then I started enjoying the whole Singham sequence and jealousy track. Now it seems like we're back to square 1 where Tanveer holds so much importance in his life.. he forgets his fiancee nearly died!!!!!

if things doesn't get better by couple of days I am going to take a break...I think it's a good idea to write ffs...I loved the singham sequence too.

everything from screenplay, direction was not up to the mark today...I don't even recognize Zoya's character anymore.
