Agree. Also, I read somewhere that muslim nikhah is not valid if there is no consent of parents or guardians. Is that true?? Then they definitely would need to attend

Being her only Family , they should be part of her engagement, and more over her jiju can do magic with his words with asad and zoe and like u mentioned Asad will get to know more about Zoe

That sounds beautiful and positive! Yes i love Zeenat and Anwar... I think its Anwar who can make Zoya realise her feelings for Asad. And yes, i'd rather have Zeenat tell her than Tanveer! Everyone is saying that Tanveer will throw the bomb on the nikaaah! :(

it depends on Bride's age.. if she is immature (who has not passed the puberty) then parents or guardian's permission is MUST.. but if the woman is mature (like Zoya) then without bride's parents or guardians consent, nikaah can be performed..

they have shown couple of big bloopers in Zoya & Marium nikaah already.. even in the thursday epi, it was someone's Valima (groom's reception after nikaah and rukhsati) where bride attends the function from her susraal.. but in QH, both dulha-dulhan didn't come to the hall together..

In India, even though majority of Hindu weddings are broadly similar, there are slight variations in the ceremonies. Is that the case with Muslim weddings too?

Also, if you have time, can you write a post explaining the various pre wedding ceremonies and the Nikaah itself for all of us here...like you did with the Halala post.

Yes, I agree. If Zeenat tells her, it will be more effective and Zoya might not get upset with Asad as much
