This is the third time you are targeting the DT of this forum. And can I be completely honest with you? I find your reason for targeting the DT of this forum to be RIDICULOUS! Heck, I think this forum is being better run than I was in the DT. Don't you get tired of dragging the same issue again and again --and believe me, the things you are talking about aren't even an issue anymore.
If you have a problem with the DT, you can contact them individually. If you want to talk ill of a certain [Persephone]'s way of working, then PM the CM of Zee. I am sure, she'll be happy to deal with your issue with Persephone.
I've worked with Persephone and let me tell you, the only reason she isn't actively participating in QH is because she might be labelled biased in the future [and that is a perfectly legit reason].
And can I please tell you that Coolbies are NOT part of the DT. They don't have to be active members just like Channel Mods, Viewbies and Mods don't have to be active members of a forum. They are here for the safe keeping of the forum and not because of your entertainment.
And your idea of Mods staying away 24x7 to suit the needs of all time zones in the world is...let me put it nicely...the most crazy idea I've ever heard! We are not machines. We don't get paid to do the I-F moderating job and we sure as hell don't like to be targeted by members for something like moderating a forum.
Mods have tried sooo hard to keep this forum clean and even [yes Asma, YOU, your complaints] lead the forum to have consecutive GOTW/DOTW and MOTW. And hmm, trust me, it isn't the DT's fault that members [yes Asma, you are a member too] don't participate.
And Mods aren't in charge of everything. Newsletter is being taken care of by Tulip and Aanchal so if you have issues, talk to either of them.
Remember, it's easy to point fingers at someone but 10000000 x hard to step into their shoes and feel what they feel.
What if you were a Mod one day Asma, and a member like me pointed fingers at you. How would you feel? Remember Asma, give respect and earn respect and please, move on from this. The DT of a section cannot be a robot and be active members [reply to each and every topic], answer 584957349857 PMs and than do their job [which is going through problem posts and making them less problematic] and oh that too, 24x7 so that they don't mess up any time zone difference either!
Yes, I am rude but I think I've had enough. We faced the same problem when I was a DT and I think it's high time that you get to know how I felt then and how I feel now.
