She takes a risk of being caught , humiliated and thrown out of Razia's fort. Only for Asad.
She goes to HumAyan's engagement - unwelcome, uninvited (officially). Only for Asad.
As much as she is ecstatic and happy for HumAyan, her critical concern is to ensure that all cameras are set properly. the adapter is charged so that Asad can see the engagement.
She meets Ayaan only to describe what Asad must be feeling , how he feels, how he functions. For some moments, Ayaan is forgotten as Asad is present on the scene through Zoe without him being there physically. This is the first time you realize that Zoe doesn't think Asad is emotionally-challenged. She just craves for those emotions to come running out for her.
She is not there to participate in the engagement - she is there to be the eyes through which Asad can see his beloved brother's engagement to Humeira.
She looks excitedly into the camera and asks Asad like a kid who has just finished her first drawing - Hi Mr.Khan! Kaisa lagaa aapko mera surprise. Enjoy, ok?.
Yes, Raabert is Zoe's close friend, Humeira is her little doll - but whatever Zoe did today was for Asad. From start until the music box came in, all Zoe cared about was Asad's happiness. She took all these risks just for him...
And Asad?
Asad is a realist unlike Zoe's reckless dreamy self. The moment he saw Zoe fluttering her doe-eyes at him and asking him how he liked the surprise , Asad knew TROUBLE was on its way. Happiness of seeing the HumAyan engagement aside, he was worried what was to ensue. Asad's " Agar kisi ne inhe wahaan dekh liyaa toh..." reflected that his sixth sense was telling him that crisis was just round the corner. And whenever Asad has sensed trouble , it has always happened - especially as far as Zoe is concerned.
Asad pulls you out from Zoe's dreamy glossy world and makes you realize that as much as we can go awww about Zoe's extra mile for Asad, we cannot deny that it is a suicidal move - considering that the Khan Mansion and Siddiqui House are two enemy camps.
Asad has sensed major upheavel and keeping with his 100% record , it happens , as we saw in the precap. So, Zoe gets slapped , Dilshad gets insulted , is labeled a 'Daayan' and the Khans are humiliated to the hilt by Razia.
Am i going to blame Asad for losing his head on Zoe tomorrow? No.Chaanta padha , ye zaroor galat baat hai , lekin apni laaparwaahi aur ahmek-pane ko bhi nazar andaaz nahin kar sakte. Besides, Asad is the last man you expect to stay in his senses when his Ammie gets called a 'Daayan'!
Coming to another important aspect of today's episode, when Zoe witnessed the bond between Gaffur and Humzie , you are surely touched by emotion. But there is a harsh reality that also lurks around. Humzie is the princess of the house, the apple of everyone's eyes. The Siddiqui Heiress, the delicate darling of each and everyone. However, the picture seems rather bleak for Zoe. Its very unlikely that Zoe will ever have the same crown on her head or the same arms around her neck or the same hands on her head. Irrespective of whether Gaffur accepts her tomorrow or not, Zoe will never have the complete honour of a daughter in this house.
Siddiqui House is Humeira's kingdom. She is her father's princess and she always will be. Even if Gaffur gives Zoe all the rights and acceptance , Humeira will always be Humeira in the complete sense and honour of a daughter.
Infact, as much as i hate to say it, the scene between Gaffur and Humzie was moving and at that point , its Zoe who seemed like an outsider.
Go home, Zoe. Go to Asad. He asked you to come running back the moment he called you, didn't he? You are a princess there - with him and in his world. Nowhere else. You should have listened and gone running back. The slapgate would have never happened. Never. He is your voice of reason and protection. You should have heard him.
