I don't think he is going to be cold towards her not when her entire life and belief system has been shattered. If anything we are now going to see him actively find ways to get her to stay. As bheegi said in her thread (Don't cry for me, Zoe) I think Asad is going to find out that he was misled and gets her to stay because at this point that's the only thing that could get Zoe too. Still doesn't explain how they circumvent the visa issue.

@ bold: I know. Poor him. Zoya is too lost in her pain to notice her own feelings towards him at this point in time, leave alone his feelings.

@the rest: Yep I agree. Haven't read Bheegi's post yet but that's an interesting thought.

I think the work permit thing makes the most sense for the visa issue. What I'm curious about is how Asad makes Zoya change her mind about returning to NY.

Yes, he wanted to hold her and assure her that her story will be complete.

Any man capable of feeling hurt is human, that means he can love as well. Or at least he once loved. The only person who can fix that little hole in his heart...is Zoya! He knows that...yet he's in that denial mode ...but slowly he's learning to just accept the fact that Zoya may be a misfit ...but She is the PERFECT MISFIT for him!

Asad will definitely pursue her and will not leave things go out of hand this time. But he being Asad will take it slowly and first gauge her mood and feelings about going back and how she feels about leaving the khan house, and act per the situation.

I think he'll be a bit more urgent in his actions this time around. He's changed since the beginning of the show.

Asad responds by wanting to hold her hand. My opinion is that in that moment, just when he hears Zoya's words, he decides to complete their story and that is why he is about to hold her hand in his. It wasn't merely a gesture of consolation but rather it was his response to a wake up call in Zoya's words. It seemed like he realized the finality of decisions and time, he realized that life doesn't offer multiple chances and that when you yearn for something, you should use the chance to make it yours. It was an affirmation that he desires to complete her and that she, too, fill the void in his life- he was offering her his hand for life.

He retracts his hand because he sadly realizes that if she intends to go back to New York, there is no point in taking such a bold step at the moment.

What did you think when you saw the scene? Am I reading too much into it- did he only mean to support her or did he mean to hold her hand as a life partner?

And yes like you I'm curious to know what Asad will say to keep Zoe back. UNLESS he finds sth. about her dad some proof that Zoe's dad is alive Zoe would have no reason to stay back as she's nowhere close to realize her feelings for her Mr.Khan.

Really? I remember reading a few posts which mentioned that Gul is excellent at office romances. I haven't seen her previous shows.

Pretty sure the visa issue will not be forgotten. They haven't forgotten any little thing yet.

Oh yes indeed. We've been speculating everything (visa, marriage to death and it'll be quite something to know what the CVs actually end up doing.

acc to a recent article... Tanu is abt to put zoya in a life n death suituation... Y not a fire accident... As I have mentioned in other posts zoya could get flashes of her memory in that accident n also based on medical issues visa application could be easily cracked...
