Asad would have have not visibly flinched if it was just support he was offering Zoya- he was so stumped at her wanting to go back - the emotions ranging from hurt, fear and shock were so well emoted by Karan Singh Grover! Brilliant!

jojo enjoy reading your posts😳...my 2 cents...why Asad holds back...he's lived his whole life in fear protecting his heart and she in hope craving for love. just that moment looked like Asad was thinking "what about me...thought I meant something..." kinda look...

I think the roles are just reversing...she's lost hope, he's just reaching out to grab onto some...

On a different note...It would be wonderful to see if Rashid will get his wish fulfilled through Zoya. She makes Asad realize he still has a chance to tell his father some things she may never have the chance for...If Asad does this for Zoya and himself...

But i feel "kuch khayaniya kabhi poori nahi hoti, unki kismat mein adhoora hona likha rehta hai actually states on Zoya and her father's relation as like Zoya said,
