My Spring break is over in a day, so I'm presenting you all with an OS

Asad looked up at the sky; the snow was getting heavier and the sky, darker.
He pulled his hood up, covering his head from the white flakes. His breath was visible and he shoved his hands into the deepest of his pocket.
He stopped at the red hand at the sign across the road, which indicated him to stop.
Cars whooshed past a couple of seconds one after another and in a little while later the red hand disappeared and instead there was another sign telling him to walk.
He crossed the road, and smiled looking at the front yards of the housed he passed by.
Each house was set up in Christmas lights and other decorations telling everyone, Christmas is here.
There was little snowmen by the doors of some housed and others had an inflated Santa.
The cars that were parked were covered in snow.
His phone chimed, informing of his new Text message, he pulled it out and read the teaxt as he ws still walking
Text:
Hey dude prom's nxt week? Whatevr happened 2 ur date? U promised u'd ask her…
Asad smiled to himself, and shoved the phone back into his pocket
So prom's next week huh? Shit…he thought
"I'll ask her tomorrow" he said to himself
He continued walking

She stood hopeless, while her friend tried on a thousand different dresses
"Ugh! Don't you think I look fat?" her friend Jackie complained as she checked her reflection from different angles.
"You look fine, I'm sure Bryce will appreciate anything you wear!" she explained
Jackie looked at her
"Zoe, why don't you try something out?" Jackie asked taking another dress in her hand
Zoe shrugged
"I don't know, I guess its cause I don't have a date?" she questioned her own statement?
"But you're still going right?" Jack stopped everything
"Maybe not, I mean you and Bryce go enjoy…" she put her fingers in her hair, fixing it
"What?!" Jackie put down the dress in her hand
"What?" Zoe asked confused
"You're not going? Zoe!" she whined
"It's okay really…. I don't care at all" Zoe picked up a dress, examining it
"Ugh! Look Zoe, this is last time, we'll be in high school, the last time we'll be 18, why don't you just come, and you don't need a date!" Jackie folded her arms and frowned
Zoe let out a little laugh.
"Fine, I'll go, but don't complain when I get in between you and Bryce okay?"
Jackie jumped up in glee. "Really? Aw, Zoe come lemme' help you pick out a dress!"
She pulled Zoya, and took out a dump of dresses

Bryce stepped out of his house
"Yeah ma, okay…" he yelled as he trotted down the concrete steps.
He looked at Asad who was waiting
"You could of come in you know, it's like below zero degrees out here" Bryce said
Asad shook his head, and both started walking
"Dude, I really don't know where we're going, you didn't tell me" Asad stated
"Well you see, Jackie and Zoe are busy, with some girly things, so we…guys…are gonna catch a movie…"
Asad smiled hearing Zoe's name
Bryce smiled also seeing his reaction
"…Speaking of Zoe, did you get my text?"
Asad rolled his eyes
"Yeah, and before you even get started, let me tell you, I'll do it soon…"
"What do you say in Hindi… jaldi, okay?" Bryce added in
Asad nodded his head
They crossed the road.

Zoya put her coat on and Jackie zipped up her Jackie. Both picked up their shopping back and yelled a thank you at the old lady in the register.
They stepped out
Jackie stopped walking, and tapped Zoya, who was too busy with her phone; she didn't know what was happening.
"What?" She asked looking up
"Isn't that Asad and Bryce?"
Zoya's head shot towards that direction, and she felt a blush on her cheeks hearing the name Asad.
"Bryce, Asad!" Jackie yelled, and both Asad's and Bryce's head turned towards them.
Zoya's eyes widened and she looked down, and on the other hand Bryce smiled and nudged Asad a bit.
Both started walking toward the direction of the girls.
"What are you guys doing her?" Jackie asked as she hugged Bryce and Asad.
"Uhh, actually we were going to the movies" Bryce replied
"..And sup Zoe…" Bryce added
Zoya smiled and managed to mumble a little "Hey"
Bryce and Jackie shared a look
"Oh shit!"
Everyone looked at him
"Ma told me to buy bread! I forgot…Asad sorry man, I gotta go"
Asad made an "Are you serious" face.
Bryce turned
"Wait!" Jackie yelled from behind, and Bryce turned back
"I also forgot, I also need bread… sorry Zoe" she exclaimed and walk to Bryce and both rushed off
"Uhhh, wow…" Asad said slowly as he turned to Zoya
"Um, you don't need bread also do you?" He asked
Zoya held in a laugh and shook her head
"Mind if I drop you home?"
Say no, say no, say no
"Yeas…sure" she replied
Shit, she thought
"Cool" He replied, while she smiled and both started walking
"So, uh, are you going with a date to the dance next Saturday?" He asked
She put her hands into her pocket and shook her head
"No, why?" she replied softly
He hesitated for a moment
"Uh, I was thinking, you see I don't have a date either…so I was thinking, would you go with me?"
She literally stopped thinking or moving.
His smile faded
"Hey what happened?"
She looked at him with wide eyes
"What did you just say?"
"I asked you to be my date, look I really like, well I have since freshman year, and I really want-"
"Yes!" she said without thinking
"Wait, what?"
"I said yes…" this time a bit lower in tone
His smile was to no bounds
She started walking, but he held her hand and pulled her back. She banged into his chest
He lowered his lips to hers and captured them in a soft kiss.
Zoya, melted like chocolate left out in the sun, while he, well he was fangirling inside….
