Asad and Zoya intensely stared at one another. It had been six years….the love and passion still existed. Armaan stood up and ran to his Mom. Asad was shocked. So they were Ms. Farroukhi's and Ayaan's kids. He felt a pang in his chest. He could not believe that Zoya and Ayaan had consummated their marriage. Asad always thought that Zoya would be his and his alone BUT if she was not then he was to blame, right? He had chosen his head over heart. He had chosen tezeeb over trouble.

Zoya stared at Mr. Khan. Armaan was yapping away but she was not listening to her child's banter. She just stared at Mr. Khan. OMG, he still looked so handsome and intense BUT he still had that mistrust in his eyes. Some men do not change. Zoya sighed and lifted Armaan in her arms. Zainab also stood up but she slipped. Asad held her just like he did her mom. Zainab requested him to carry her and for an unknown reason, he obliged. Something about the child wanted him to hug her and erase all her pain and troubles. Zoya had to get her children out the wet clothes and requested Phupi to help. But Phupi and Tamatar excused themselves as the doorbell rang. Asad offered to help. Left with no choice, Zoya agreed.

Asad and Zoya had their hands full with Armaan. He was running all around wetting the room, bed, carpets. Zoya was laughing. Asad thought that her dimples were still a KILLER. Both the kids had the dimples. Zoya caught Armaan, who was kicking, singing and creating a ruckus. As compared to him, his sister was an angel. Zain kept giggling at Zoya and Armaan. Asad smiled as he was changing Zainab. She gave him no trouble and within seconds he was done. He offered to help Ms. Farroukhi as Armaan was being a brat. While Asad held Armaan, Zoya changed him. Armaan began running and Zoya ran after him only to slip on the water drops. Asad held Zoya…MITWA moment returns.

Week later:

Zoya and the kids were visiting Rashid and the family. Zoya was least interested but Rashid was the children's paternal grand-father and for all Ayaan the father. Razia looked at the kids with evil eyes and realized that she had to kill the boy as he would be lawful heir. She could NOT let that happen to Humeira. Her daughter hated her now but she was still her mum and had her best interests. Armaan loved running around and if he slipped real bad then it would be an accident. Razia had an evil smile. She told Armaan that there was a secret room in the house and if he could find it then she would give him a prize. Armaan agreed. In his excitement he shared the secret with Zainab. Being the elder and cautious of the two, Zainab chose to lead. She asked Armaan to hold on till she figured a way around the house. Raiza had spilled water on the marble stairs, hoping that Armaan would get hurt BUT NO, in a few moments she saw Zainab tumble down the stairs. Zoya was screaming, Ayaan, Rashid and Shireen ran and Armaan was stunned at a silent and bleeding Zainab. They rushed her to the hospital.

On the way, Shireen informed Dilshad about Zainab. Asad had just walked in from work when he saw Dilshad and Tamtar in frenzy. Dilshad told him about Zainab and Asad was numb. He felt his chest being clamped as felt for Zoya. But more important he felt that his life was being taken away from him. He agreed to drive them.

In the hospital, the doctors were fighting to save Zainab's life. She had lost a lot of blood but neither the mother nor the father nor the relatives were a match. Zoya was shrieking and panicking at the thought of losing her daughter. Ayaan felt helpless. Where do they get the blood from? Who should we call? Then it stuck Zoya that the blood match would be the real father and he was not Ayaan. That moment, Asad, Dilshad and Tamatar walked in. Zoya ran to Asad and hugged him tight. He was taken aback, embarrassed but delighted. Zoya was shrieking and Asad was comforting her. He was the only person who could manage and comfort her. The doctor requested Zoya to arrange for the blood. Zoya, without battering an eye-lid, asked to check Asad's blood group. The doctor replied "When the parents' groups did not match, how could a strangers?." Zoya was pissed and she screamed: "Allah Mia, he is not a stranger, he is the father". When he heard this Asad felt weak and faint and the family was shocked. Asad regained his composure and requested for a blood test. VOILA it was a perfect match to Zainab. Without a moment's delay the transfusion was completed but the fight for Zainab's life was still on. It was then Asad realized that Zainab. A. Khan and Armaan. A. Khan did not stand for Ayaan but Asad. Zoya had not forgotten him and although he broke her heart and trust many a times, she still ensured that the kids carried his name. He fell in love with her more and more. His troublemaker was his perfect soul mate. The misfit was the perfect fit. She was his and his alone. Why did he not realize this before?

Amidst the confusion and shock, an innocent move made an impact. Whilst for the elders the revelation was sinking, a scared Armaan rushed to Dad as his mom was crying. He hugged his dad tight. Asad Ahmed Khan picked up his son and hugged him and his mother. The doctor stepped out and uttered the magic words that Zainab would survive without any major damage.

Razia over-heard this. She was upset and angry. Dilshad witnessed the change in Razia and she knew.
