*******THE SONG AND THE DANCE********

I can't stop gushing about the whole episode….I felt like sharing something that caught my attention with the dance

Few things I noticed about the dance….

1. Asad does not lip- sync in the beginning. Zoya does, right from the start….then he joins her.

2. Asad and Zoya turn sad in the middle of the song which started in a playful mood and ended cheerfully.

3. Zoya is distracted at the end of the dance.

That is when I felt they were telling us a story…

The following is an elaboration on these points …

The song starts with them both lost in their thoughts. They are distant from each other, immersed in their thoughts.

He walks towards her…HE DOES NOT LIPSYNC HERE!

And Zoya starts singing as he reaches near her..(She never hides her feelings)..

She walks backward, almost inviting Asad to follow her

Even here, Asad is SILENT.

She does that cute jig…tempts him to come after her..and he follows. ..attempts to catch her pallu and loses himself in her joyfulness….

Even here, Asad stays silent….it is very difficult for him to mouth his feelings…

Zoya sings…

That one day like a hundred years

sau saal ki woh raat thi
A hundred years in that one night

Zoya becomes sad and turns to leave…..when he holds her pallu gently. (Is this after the Tanveer heartbreak… or is it after Ayan too, when Asad is clear about his feelings for her…knows the inevitability of their union, despite the odds?)

kaisa lage jo chup chaap dono, pal pal mein puri sadiya betaade
Why don't we both quietly live our whole lives in these few moments'

Asad is still quiet…but he pulls her towards him, wrapping the saree around her..caresses her face…

LIGHTNING STRIKES (A major shift occurs in their relationship?)

He seals her lips here…she has been singing all along…now it is time for him to open up…

And they both sing together….the happiness just shines through now…

Now Asad has given himself up…he has opened up completely…he holds her hands, Zoya looks at him lovingly as she takes shy retreating steps…and Mr. Khan follows her…holding her hands to his heart, he has taken her now as his haq…Nothing can separate them now.

Alas! Zoya's gaze shifts to the side…she sees something behind him…she tries to ignore it and get back to him, but that thing behind him…it catches her attention again even as Asad is oblivious to what she is seeing…

What did Zoya see?

Is it a jhalak of Rashid's innocence?

Or did she see her Abbu? Will that be another twist in their love story, after Rashid's innocence has been proved?

yes, even when he is intoxicated, he is confused if he loves her or hates her. He cant bring himself to think that he loves her.

Hmm.. I feel he is not confused...just stubborn. He agrees he loves her, but that is not enough...she can never be a perfect wife...so...he will not 'fall' in love😉
