I watched IPK and found his actions towards her disgusting. Needless to say, I wasn't even fond of the girl either. In fact why did I even watch the show?

Point is, during that time there was numerous debates about the violence. How can you be so sure that she was not a part of the debate and going against the male leads behaviour?

Thanks Sammy, initially I didn't think much of it like everyone else. But as I continued watching, it got worse. And I lost interest.

I did speak up but it as vociferously cos like a lot of people here, I thought... We're all adults, I'm sure each of us knows what's right or wrong. But over time, reading posts on the IPK and QH forum where people try to explain the other perspective, I realised I needed to express what I felt.

And now I realise I might be in a minority, but I'm not alone.

Just read her previous posts where in she said if she found the same in other shows she would do the same, ie, writing to concerned authority. Anyways I have no issues regarding writing a letter, because taking a stand for what you feel right is correct. Just that as I agree that slap was violent and totally uncalled, I also agree that the slap was not romanticized in any angle! That's a pure misconception!

@Laila I respect your opinion, but honestly this is going a tad-overboard now don't you think?! It's just a piece of fiction, please get over it! Btw if you are seriously so against all this, then I think it's only right for you to protest against every show that shows violence towards women and not just target one show!

And I'm sure you understand that violence has it's own parameters too! Something that becomes a HABIT is called violence, but something that happened on an impulse and unintentionally is called a MISTAKE!

It's funny how you turn a blind eye to what Razia did under the excuse of her being a negative character LOL 😆 but tell me one thing since you work with victims of domestic violence, the people who abuse these women are also negative right?! So why don't you ignore that too by just saying yeah they're negative people anyway so they will do the wrong thing but let me go punish those positive people who made a mistake on an impulse!

PS If my mother was battling between life and death and if the person who was somewhere even the least bit responsible for my mother's condition was standing in front of me, I would do exactly what Asad did whether it be a man, woman, relative, friend ANYONE!

some other forum member who are not fan of qh.
comes in the forum with suspicious intention.
especially some member who are not fan of qh and also comes form a show's forum where they blamed qh and ksg for the end of their show .
their intention and activity in our forum seems not positive.

Great work Laila...I cannot thank you enough for taking the initiative to do this on everyone's behalf ...every little step towards a change is noteworthy and every great dream begins with a dreamer. We always have to remember, we have within ourselves the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world because a small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever was.

Priyanka

Ps: Will catch with you all later...will be at work but had to comment on this one.

Don't make it personal please, not everyone has an ulterior motive. And not everything is a saazish. 😊
