whoa to all the "justifications"!!! 😕
why do people assume that if a woman slaps a man we would be okay with it? Violence is NOT okay, no matter what! Self-defense is another issue altogether.

If want me to justify my stance then simply quote me! No need to ask indirect questions! Both parties according to me was wrong, and placing myself in both their shoes, I see where they are coming from! Quite frankly the world wont revolve around people agreeing on the same stance! So I stated my POV! Just like everybody else did here!Violence is not OK! Correct! Self defence justifies violence OK!But are you seriously telling me you would not use violence if you feel someone caused your mother to be lying on her death bed? I will hurt anyone who hurts my family! Whether they are a man or woman!..So I answered the question from my personal POV!.This is clearly a touchy issue! so everyone will get all hyped up! quite evidently! But unless each invidiual is faced with such a situation according to me, whatever stance they take now has no weight! You cna judge me to a phan girl if you so wish, but I believe my perspective on this situationn is pretty realistic!

I've seen a worrying trend with the successive 4Lions shows where in each show they push the envelope on the male lead's abuse a little more. I think they were still weary in their first big show, not really knowing how much the audience would take, but the more they pushed in successive projects, the more the audience lapped it up in the name of the hero's "passion" and the higher the TRPs went, so they kept going further and further and today hit an all time low. But to be honest, I can't say I was surprised. In fact I was pretty much anticipating this...I thought he would just push her against a wall and bruise her arm, but I guess 4Lions decided they could afford to go one step further in their hot-but-troubled-angry-young-man formula.
Now Zoya, instead of staying the heck away, as she should, will be even more attracted to Asad in all his pain and tragedy... and who can forget, his unerring devotion to his Ammi.
Believe you me, the TRPs will soar, and in their next show, who knows how far they will go? But don't worry young, impressionable girls, if a man treats you like crap and physically hurts you, it only means he is passionately in love with you and you should definitely hang around him until he shoves you into a wall and screams it in your face.
Pardon me for the cynicism but I am finding it hard to see the romance today.
PS: YES, I would have been just as annoyed if Zoya slapped Asad. Violence is never the answer to anything, and you better control yourself in the name of being a human being. Saying Zoya asked for it is no better than saying any victim of abuse asked for it. There is no permissible excuse for violence, except self-defense.

Mira? 😲
I thought it might be you, but I wasn't totally sure since you seem to have changed the numbers on the end of your ID.
HI! 🤗
So nice to run into you after ages, especially in this very ornery mood. 😆
totally agree with you.Originally posted by: _innocent_
Dude, because of Zoya nonsense his mother is fighting for her life, so what else did you expect him to do? I do not justify violence but at the same time indivudals no matter how mahan they are will react exactly the same way Asad did today! Zoya tried to help the girl, but she also knew she was bringing toruble into someone's house, and did not feel the need to share that very information!..
Khair both were wrong! But the slap from my POV was realistic! Please dont start stating am supporting violence, because at the end of the day, placing ourselves in his shoes, in REALITY, we do not know how we would react, but my money will be on the way Asad reacted!#Would your reaction be the same if Zoya had slapped Asad? People need to stop this whole gender thing!.. Our reaction should be based on the circumstances we see before us, and again (i know am repeating myself but) in reality anyone in his shoes would have reacted the same way! believe it or not! I know I would have!MY POV! Which obviously you wont agree with! But thats cool, each to its own😊
