I kind of saw all that in name of plot and character development but did they have to show physical violence. I would have respected A and the CVs more if they had shown him controlling his slap last minute and breaking things all around her instead

And if the idea was to anger the people watching the violence and think it was wrong well then heck yeah A was wrong towards Z big time. 😲 But I don't think that is what the CVs were thinking.

These examples bothered me too but as long as he never physically hurt her or did anything like this, I let it go but I cannot dismiss this anymore.

Check the voting on this thread here! And the comments supporting Asad and the sympathy he is getting. We even have people blaming Zoya - as if she deserved it. (Passing out in shock).

I am not surprised by this after reading that "he slapped her because he treats men and women as equals"!!! 😆 😕After that nothing has the power to shock me...

So as a director or creative I can very well control what I want to show. And as a woman and an educated one who I'm sure is very self respecting of herself and her needs I think it is irresponsible to show these kind of scenes which only support violence rather than condemn it. They should have simply not shown the slap, hit the wall near Z or if Z she tries to put a hand on his shoulder push her away. But forA to slap Z even if in reflex then show no immediate contrition does not bode well for a main lead/hero character which we all know he is. Believe me when I say I write intense scenes between my leads but I would never allow a main character of my books to cross a line. Fiction can be manipulated and as a creative I do that in my books to reflect my thoughts and assumptions. This is not a tirade I promise you just a putting forth of why entertainment needs to be more responsible.😊

I am not codoning zoya behavior.. she is annoying.. no guest behaves like this.. honestly you feel like slapping her.. but showing the lead guy slap the lead girl is promoting voilence..in any relationship.. he could have just hit the wall or raised his hand and walked away.. CVs HAVE to redeem both characters now.. they cant show her so intrusive and imbecile and they cannot show him like this

Zoya's zero-tolerance for regressive attitudes was such a refreshing change to watch!

But the "hero"?
What with this slap and his seriously regressive attitude toward women in the name of "respect" and "tradition" - women should walk with their eyes lowered, not talk back to men, not wear clothes that will provoke men into harassing them etc...wishing Zoya will find a man who will "clip her wings" 😕

i really don;t know what this show is about anymore...

Slap her into shape🤢

By legal action I remembered that Asad is at fault too for not taking any legal action against dilwar mamu atleast for hurting him if not for Zoya, but he chose to downplay it! and the whole blame shifted towards Zoya.
Regarding slap if CVs are going to downplay it by making him apologize Zoya and realize his love for Zoya, and Zoya too forgiving him bla bla bla... then I will be totally disappointed, if their intension was to show the reality and show what is right then they have to really come up with a solid track.

Thanks - and that is why i do not condone or justify his actions. i didn't slap anyone and there were plenty of people who might have needed to get an earful but even i did not go there. Later, when the time was right, they got it. 😉 and now none of my aunts on either side of the family speak to me, but they got to hear what my mother wanted. 😆

but this is the reason women are abused, if it was not done/shown in televison, maybe it can help reduce the number of attacks...even gang rapes but this is just my opinion...

I second that, absolutely showings of this kind does make it a social norm... this should be stopped... QH bites the dust on this episode..🤢

They are delighting in it. As one person said so well:

Shows and movies oftentimes romanticise violence against women, which is completely irresponsible on part of the maker. A few epsiodes down the line Asad will go through massive self-loathing and Zoya will be expected to melt into his arms, you know because mitwa, ishq par zor nahin. And I have no doubt Zoya will be all, oh I totally get you and it is okay for you to whack me, I will melt in your arms anyway. That makes this slap so much worse. And let us have no doubt that will happen.

So I stated my POV! Just like everybody else did here!
Violence is not OK! Correct! Self defence justifies violence OK!But are you seriously telling me you would not use violence if you feel someone caused your mother to be lying on her death bed? I will hurt anyone who hurts my family! Whether they are a man or woman!..So I answered the question from my personal POV!.
This is clearly a touchy issue! so everyone will get all hyped up! quite evidently! But unless each invidiual is faced with such a situation according to me, whatever stance they take now has no weight! You cna judge me to a phan girl if you so wish, but I believe my perspective on this situationn is pretty realistic!

No. Especially if that person was smaller than me. That's not OK. I would definitely express myself but I don't have to slap them.

He slapped her and it is justified ???? Another time he will just kill her and maybe it will be justified too...
This is so ridiculous 😡

And I will be even more pissed if they will show Zoya acting as if nothing happened at all 😡 😡

I am just wondering how in goodness name they will show Asad redeem himself, coz I for one I am totally disappointed and pissed at him for the time being. Maybe I should stop watching QH too for a while...

If Zoya has one bit of self respect left in her, she should leave as soon as this is over and Dilshaad is ok. I think it is time for Zoya to live somewhere else...and a simple " I am sorry " from Asad will just NOT be enough !!!! He has to repent big time
And I think it's about time that Zoya starts concentrating on the job she actually came for and stop getting involved in Asad Khan and his family...

don't quit right now - watch, we need your support here as we want to see how low they will go. 😊
