Cry Me a River...
I couldn't believe what I just saw.
But I didn't just see it, I heard it, and felt it. Right in my heart.
When did this even happen? Why? I thought there was no room for anything like this in out relationship, which I believed was filled with love. Until today.
You were my sun.
You were my earth.
I recalled that day, when he whispered those 3 magical words in my ear.
"There's one more thing I wanted to tell you," he took my hand firmly in his and leaned close.
"What?" My vulnerable eyes looked into his with all the love I could possibly possess and more.
"You are the first and last person I will ever utter these words to. Zoya Farooqi I am deeply, unconditionally, and hopelessly..."
LIES! Everything he said that day was nothing but a bloody lie!
First and last person?
Bull to the shit!
I can't help but scoff.
I can't believe I was stupid enough to buy that.
So you took a chance

"So did he propose yet?" Zara asked obnoxiously drinking her milkshake.
"No," I piped her down. For some reason Zara thought we were that 'Made for Each Other' couple and shipped us more than the world shipped 'Saifeena'
"Allah Miyan! You two have been dating for the past 2 years! I think it's time. He better do it this month or I'm gonna have to force him!" She rolled up her sleeve causing me to burst into laughter.
"Oh what would I do without you Zara," I called the waiter over for the bill.
"Acha so where are we..." Zara started only to stop midway. She looked like she was staring at something.
"Zara? Zara!!"
"Zoya isn't that him over there?" She pointed to a man who looked oddly familiar.
"Oh my gosh! It is! But he said he was on a business trip, maybe he came back early to surprise me!" I squealed, "I should go over and surprise him instead," I got up only to be stopped by Zara.
"I know this may seem crazy but why don't you call him and ask him where he is instead?"
"Oh alright fine!" She punched his number into her phone and she heard it ring.
With my eyes on him I saw him get his phone out but that was when my world came crashing down.
Just as he moved I was able to see that he wasn't alone, there was a woman with him and she was... holding his hand?
Not wanting to believe my eyes I continued waiting for him to pick up.
I watched him roll his eyes and finally pick up.
"Hello?"
"Hey," I responded lightly.
"Zoya, I'm kind of busy right now,"
"Where are you?"
"I told you didn't I? I'm in London sweetheart where else would I be?"
"Oh and what are you doing?"
"I'm in the middle of a very important deal, I'll call you later love. Bye," he ended the call.
I watched them get up. He kissed her and then led her out of the coffee shop.
"Zara..." I tried talking but she just grabbed my hand and pulled me out.
"We need to follow this bas***d sweetheart, don't you dare shed a single tear over that piece of trash,"
Getting into her car we followed them to some shady hotel and into a room.
With my eyes peering through the slight crack in the door way I heard and saw,
He pushed her onto the bed and slowly climbed on top of her.
I heard her say, "Babe how long are you going to keep toying with that poor girl? It's been two years I think it's about time to tell her that she's just a cover up. For the world and your professional image. I'm sure if you offered her the money she would play along..."
I had reached the end of my tolerance and fought back my tears pulling Zara away from the place.
"Let's get out of here,"
It was pathetic that in the end I had to find out from the other woman.
But it was over and now and things would never be the same...
My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden opening of the door.
"SURPRISE!"
It was him.
That bloody little two timing... I composed herself. Let him cry now, and now I... will have some fun with this.
"Oh how sweet and you bought me some roses too! I love you so much!" I spat out the words that clearly had no value to either of us anymore and pulled him in an embrace.
"Why don't you go take a shower, you must be tired. I'll go whip us something up kay?" I forced myself to act normal and pecked him on the cheek before sending him in.
It was time to get even.
You don't have to say, what you did.
I already know, I found out from her.
I left him a note.
"Wind and Waves. 8 pm."
Keep in mind this place was always packed and one of the best restaurants in the area. Luckily Zara's dad owned it.
Poor two timing bas***d didn't know what he was headed for.
Now there's just no chance, for you and me, there'll never be.
And even bother making yourself sad about it.
The lights went off as soon as he stepped into the restaurant.
"Hello?" He called out into the darkness when a bright spotlight fell on him and someone in a long black dress on the other side of the room.
It was me.
"Recognize these?" I said holding up the roses from earlier on in the day.
"Zoya? What are you..." he started noticing the people staring at him.
"You are the first and last person I will ever utter these words to. Zoya Farooqi I am deeply, unconditionally, and hopelessly love you?
Do these words sound familiar?" I spoke circling him letting the sound of my clicking heels haunt him. You told me you loved me
Why did you leave me, all alone
Now you tell me you need me
When you call me, on the phone
"Zoya..."
"But I was just there to add glamour to your professional image right? I mean obviously if a CEO married some bar girl his image would go down the toilet no?" I hissed at him.
"How do you know ab..."
"You were in London this afternoon weren't you?" I mocked his audacity.
And that was when he realized what the hell was going on.
Oh he was screwed. Real bad.
But boy I refuse, you must have me confused
With some other girl...
"These roses are beautiful..." I ran my fingers through them, "Too bad they'll have to be burnt," I smiled right before I reached for the lighter in his pocket and burned them right in front of his face.
I could tell now pretty boy was hatching a last minute failure plan.
Did he really think I was that stupid? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
"I'm sorry, please I didn't mean it that way. I'll do anything, just forgive me please, take me back." he pathetically pleaded.
"You'll do anything?"
"Yes Zoya anything? What do I have to do?"
I took the ashes of the burnt roses in my hands and walked over.
Your bridges were burned, and now it's your turn
To cry...
"First of all, you're an asshole so don't even bother acting like you give a shit about my feelings," I smeared the ashes all over his face, "And if really do you want me to take you back than cry..." I paused, "...cry me a river," I whispered in dangerously quiet voice.
"What?"
"Cry me a river!"
He ran his hand through the dried up tears on the pages. He felt the pain that must have produced each tear.
He shut her dairy closed placing it back on the shelf.
Asad could have never guessed that Ms. Zoya Farooqi, the girl who was annoyingly optimistic at times, had been through so much.
Placing a gentle kiss on the top of her forehead, he shut the lights, and quietly walked out of her room.
I wrote an OS that could be a stand alone OS but it can also be a continuation of this OS so here you guys go: "Let Me Love You"

If you're confused: This OS was Asad reading from Zoya's diary on her past events.

It's honestly really crappy and I don't even know if I made it flow.
