I'm sorry but I'll NEVER get over the fact that...

...Asad was walking away with his Mamu and Gang, leaving an unconscious Zoya with the kameenay gunday 😡

First I thought, oh, maybe he doesn't know what they're planning to do with her. But, no, HE DID! After the moment the gunday dropped him at the highway or whatever and he stood there for a second before it hit him that he 'Wouldn't let Zoya DIE!' He knew what they were planning all along. Then when he went to search for her, he started digging around, he KNEW they'd buried her! Gosh!

My heart broke for Zoya. She was initially, still is, and will ALWAYS be the reason I watch QH. ALWAYS. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Asad and the rest of the characters too, but I love Zoya's spirit to death. Yeah, she may be annoying to most, she may be butting into people's business, but she has a HEART OF GOLD and I absolutely ADORE her for that. She goes OUT OF HER WAY to help people, no matter if they're family or strangers.

After getting to know about Mariyam's position in the whole marriage fiasco, she didn't hesitate ONCE to go out of her way to help her. She took Mariyam's place, knowing she'd have to face the wrath of the parivaar, but she did it nevertheless, because THAT'S how selfless she is.

I'm not trying to put Asad in a bad light in comparison, but seriously, when he was walking away, CLEARLY SEEING THAT SHE WAS SURROUNDED BY GUNDAY THAT HAD GUNS AND SWORDS AND SHOVELS, each step he took away from her, my HEART LITERALLY BROKE 😭

And he wan't really struggling either! Looking back with a confused+helpless expression, yes, but NOT STRUGGLING. Even if they'd shown him struggling a little, that would have been SO MUCH BETTER!

I know some people have said that he couldn't take on so many gunday, it wouldn't be realistic, but HELLO, this is a show! Since when do we look for so much realism?! TV serials for m are a form of escapism. They've shown one-hero-gagillion-gunday scenes several times before. Heck, even Asad has had a scene where he took on so many gunday!

Realism is good. It's all good. But in real life I would NEVER leave my unconscious house-guest (or any innocent person for that matter) alone in the jungle with KAMEENAY GUNDAY WHO POSSESS GUNS AND WHATNOT OH AND DID I MENTION SHOVELS, AND THEN LEAVE SAID INNOCENT PERSON, ARRIVE AT THE HIGHWAY, SUDDENLY REALIZE, "OH, actually, no, I don't want her dead" AND THEN DECIDE TO GO LOOK FOR HER, KNOWING SHE'S PROBABLY BEEN BURIED ALIVE ALREADY.

Bull. To the Shit.

Also, after he realized that Mariyam had been raped and Zoya wasn't at fault, he STILL got into the car! What dafaq?

So he was confused, helpless, etc. Let me just say, I didn't want him to fight against the gunday 'cause he wanted to save the love of his life or the girl who's his house-guest or anything.

I wanted him to fight against the gunday for the sake of HUMANITY.

I'm sorry if my post offended anyone. I too CHERISHED the subsequent scenes where he was searching for her like a maniac, but this scene, I just couldn't digest. I will never get over this and you know it's just a show but when I emotionally connect with a fictional character on such a level as I have connected with Zoya, I can't take it when something unjust happens to her. I just can't.

I laugh with her, I live with her, I cry with her and I die with her.

Metaphorically of course, I don't REALLY die but I hope you know what I mean 😃

Oh, and I haven't even vented about my feeling regarding the comments Asad made about wishing that they never knew Zoya's Jiju and 'God knows when you'll leave my life' or whatever! You know what, mate? I want her to leave you as well! I want her to leave you so you can realize just how precious, just how genuine she is as a person.

She'll leave you and hang out with me, Asad. Yeah. We'll watch repeat telecasts of cricket matches, fangirl over MS Dhoni and dance to 'Dink chika' while you sit at home having 2074694909 flashbacks about her with the song 'Bin tere bin ter bin tere, koi khalish hai hawaaon mein bin tere'.

i have to disagree with you...Asad was in a mess. He and two guns to his head and a sword. You move a couple of centimeters and you are getting sliced. Ever been in a fight? Ever tried to fight someone? No. Even in martial arts training the first rule of thumb is to get away.

Asad had NO choice; what would he have achieved if he tried to fight - he would have died. He would have been no use to Zoya. His first goal was to STAY ALIVE. He did that. He got to the bus stop and it was not a realization that he must save Zoya it was a chance for him to save her...all along I believe he was looking for that opportunity. He kept looking over his shoulder (and to me he was making note as to what was happening, where she was buried etc) because to me, Asad was going to come back and save her and when he knew he could save her, he want back for her.

Asad was a real hero here...he could have been killed if the men were still there, but fortunately they were not and he had a chance to save Zoya. He could have been a real jerk and never gone back but he didn't. I don't think once that he never intended not to go back.

Asad couldn't do anything but walk away as he was told to do so because all the goons had a weapon and even if asad did one thing they would shoot him!!!! And obviously his character tells us that he does everything carefully so he thinks about everything so he made sure all the goons left before he went for zoya's rescue.

Lol. I like your post, especially the last paragraph.

Yeah I agree with you. Though my feelings are slightly less extreme but yes, Asad definitely knew what was going to happen to her. He should have struggled. He should have pleaded. He should have shed tears. He was a little too composed for my satisfaction as a viewer. He couldn't and should not have shoved them off or kicked them away but he most definitely could have pleaded and reasoned more with Dilawar mamu. If not all that, the PH should have at least shown him to formulate some plan or at least go emotionally crazy while riding back to the bus stop with the gundas. I mean if the guy can cry like a girl because he cannot talk to Ayaan ever (which was a non-emergent situation), he most definitely should have been crying like a girl in an emergent situation when his guest/his ward/his companion (though 'unwanted') is being buried alive. (Btw, don't get me wrong, I love the fact that he has the ability to cry like a girl when the pain is deep). Oh well. This guy is gonna hurt her severely in sacrificing his love for Ayaan, so this is preparation.

Wow u guys just don't understand that all the goons had weapons so what would the point be to even kick them and try to save her! They would've killed him!! And btw he did cry for her FYI

Urrmmm. I don't know what to say back. But I know Asad was stressed out and that's why he said it.

Asad's cool composure was vital in that situation...remember he had two guns to his head and a sword. A smart person stays calm. It was hopeless for him to reason; he didn't have a choice and by keeping calm, to me it was his way of gaining their confidence that he was not planning on doing anything. I believe he was formulating a plan - he was making note where she was buried and was determined to do back. i would have done the same in his situation.
