exactly Shaz...I will be really honest here...if he wouldn't be portrayed as such a Casanova...I would really try to tolerate him even though the acting is not up-to the mark at all...but I just cannot tolerate his so called casual flirting which I find really derogatory. Cliched...yup...I tell you...instead they are promoting it just because he is the parallel lead.

In my opinion ayaan is a fine character yah he does need to improve acting but overall Ayaan's character is wonderful. The flirting he does is harmless and girls do want attention frankly speaking girls also like when they are complimented by a guy and Ayaan does that. By saying this i am not degrading girls its normal when a girl has a crush on a guy and he flirts with her it makes her happy. Ayaan does that, i seriosly dont get why Ayaan's flirting nature is being turned into a degrading actions. We have had so many characters like Ayaan in show, so whats wrong with Ayaan's nature

There may be a very thin line between healthy flirting and eve teasing but when you watch Ayaan indulge in his antics, you know it's called healthy flirting. It doesn't involve getting physical or forceful with a female. Therefore, Ayaan is practicing what he preaches. A healthy flirt respects a woman while an eve teaser does not. That's a very huge difference, y'know? Besides, you know he is not harassing a woman when she's clearly smiling listening to his one-liners. THAT'S healthy flirting and quite harmless too.

There is a thin line between healthy flirting - completely agree... And someone who enjoys verbal sparring and innuendo with men, I can tell you I quite recommend it! But what's wrong with Ayaan is how he views women... In the first episode, when he gets slapped for getting the name of one of the girls he's flirting with, wrong... Humeira and he have this conversation... And he says well these girls are asking for it (I'm paraphrasing here)...

Greeting strangers on the street as in episode 2... That's not healthy flirting... In reality, if some guy I didn't know greeted me with a hello and a smile on the street... I'd be suspicious. A least here in India I would doubt the guy's intentions.

His sparring with Humeira is ok, since they now each other and I'd call it healthy though some Muslim friends pointed out its unacceptable.

I'm not saying women don't want attention from men, or that they don't lead men on sometimes... It's just that ayaan spouting all these dialogues seemed off... They should have had him say exactly what you and I just pointed out... There is a thin line between flirting and Eve teasing... And I don't cross it.. Or a man should know when to stop... That would have sounded more natural
