It was hypocritical to see Ayaan preaching about how men should treat women ... What has he been doing all this time ? Flirting and Eve teasing women as if he has the born right to do that ? Who has given him the right to treat women as mere objects of attraction ? Ironically Asad who is all judgmental about NRI's doesn't find it offensive keeping in mind that Ayaan has shown this side of his character many a times in front of him. Ayaan's behavior towards women is equally condescending and derogatory... He should practice what he preaches...respect women and stop flirting around.

INDEED. I found his dialogues hypocritical today.

I mean, I understand that there is the harmless flirt and then there is a rapist criminal. But the thing is that these two types of men exist on the same spectrum with several grays in between.

I think harmless flirting shouldn't be taken lightly either...honestly everything starts with flirting and then the inevitable...the whole lecture was hypocritical...

honestly the sight of Ayaan makes me mad because he is been portrayed as a happy go lucky lover boy when he is actually teasing, flirting with a woman. Asad has double standards... It's obvious and I am truly hoping that he now reflects on his judgmental views about Zoya and truly apologizes to her and since its a love-story between them they start it afresh.

Ah this is a little tricky.

Yeah from the bat we noticed how Asad bashes on Zoya while ignores Ayaan. I think with Asad it's a sexist thing.

In the first episode Asad did tell Ayaan he was doing batmeezi and seemed upset when Ayaan said Asalam to these girls passing by. I'll give him for that.

It's a different thing where Asad is not always around Ayaan and doesn't actually see what he does but he knows how is. I guess Ayaan goes in the "my little baby brother" category. Either he takes him as childish or really doesn't want to upset him even when Ayaan is doing something that Asad dislikes.

As for Ayaan as for being a Muslim what he's doing is totally not approved of yet in the show by everyone just not Asad they ignore him for his ways. So makes me think this show has a lot to go with showing "proper" Muslim ways.

i agree that he was being hypocritical when he said that to Humera in yesterday's episode, however, I don't think that Ayaan disrespects women. There is a difference between being flirty, or in Ayaan's case "a lady's man", and being a sick-minded psycho who force themselves upon women. My point being, yes Ayaan likes to "get around", but he does respect women. Yes he is flirty, but he isn't a sick-minded freak..and we have been shown this time and time again. He isnt a perfect character, because everyone has flaws, which will probably be worked upon as the show progresses.
